I fail to see anywhere in the article where the reports on the 'arabic' stations are incorrect. And its not only the arabic stations that are showing these type of images, its also CNN, BBC & ITV. Maybe because these images are true, isnt that what really should be the thrust of this article. Greetings from Germany. I've seen one or two natives here say the same thing about Israel and jews in general. Then you ask them a few choice questions and suddenly "concentration camps never happened" and "jews killed their economy". If a person who wants to exterminate all jews, calls you a nazi for attacking someone, who also wants to exterminate all jews, it's not really something an intelligent person should be taking seriously. Not to mention that you cannot seriously compare the kind of considerate self defense Israel is showing here with genocide. Of course, that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to point out the wrongness of such an accusation to others, there are a lot of less than intelligent people in this world, after all.

Many of us in the West who unconditionally supports Israel's right to self defense of this war. The Western press has different views and are running a propaganda war in favor of Hamas is frightening. In Europe we have lots of problems with Muslim immigrants who will not adapt to European culture, but living in isolated enclaves. It amazes me whenever I see Abd Al-Bari Atwan on BBC News or Sky extolling the virtues of peace between Israel & The Palestinians, when I know first hand while serving him in my family restaurant ,in London prior to making Aliyah. He dined with a woman and it was fairly late in the evening and they were the only guests dining. I made it clear that I recognized him and asked him his opinion on whether there will ever be peace in the middle east; I also asked him what he thought of Osama Bin Laden. To my disbelief he and his female guest started saying that all jews should be killed and that there is no such thing as an Israeli. As far as he was concerned, Osama was a hero for masterminding 9/11 and America deserved it. Although I was incensed I did not make my ethnicity known and as it was a Greek restaurant (Long story), he was none the wiser. I did not fancy having the restaurant firebombed or maybe worse. This is the man called on by all the news agencies whenever they are looking for an objective analysis of the middle east. So, with that in mind what is your opinion on peace in the middle east?

AFTER the war all journalists will be ALLOWED to enter Gaza Strip -- to do their investigations and research, take interviews of ALL the civilians. BTW journalists craving for live-reporting straight from the battlefield while the battle is going on -- is sheer STUPIDITY. Why is it stupidity ? Because war is NOT a child-play, war is NOT a dancing-party, war is NOT a theatrical performance. War is a killing business (between Israeli Army and Hamas et al operatives) -- so, journalists should NOT be eager to stand in the crossfire.

And yes, Hizbollah did use kids and civilians as human shields in Lebanon. UN is not reliable. It consists almost exclusively of despotic, militaristic and theocratic states and governments. Democracy, freedom, liberty and truth are not chief components of UN. Yes, Israel is fighting terrorism. Terrorists never bring with them freedom and democracy and terrorists never fight for independence and national liberation.
