1. Don't wear a kippah.
John ,   Europe   (01.12.09)
The law states that head should be covered. We here solve this problem with various caps and hats on the streets. At home and in synagogue, it is, of course, kippah. Oh, and I piss on the motherfuckers who constantly censor everything I say.
2. The Hatred Was Always There,Lying
Lawrence Tendler ,   Safed Israel   (01.12.09)
Dormant. But it took something rather drastic to inevitably draw out the Volcanic Lava of sentiment. If it is any small comfort to Jewish communities abroad, things are unfolding as they are intended to unfold.Do not sway, hang tough.Like I said earlier, the hatred was always there but Jews could not see it...better out than in,G-d is seeing who is for and who is against.
3. Wrap it up
Chrisona ,   Chicago.IL   (01.12.09)
Israel can defeat Hamas anytime, and may have to, if it allows Hamas to survive this war. What is actually more concerning is the strength of Jew hatred around the world, as shown in numerous anti-Israel rallies. Although these people's excesses are currently being restrained by governments, what if some politician were to step forward to use them to advance his or her own agenda? My point is that Israel needs to act in a way that totally prevents another war with Hamas and thus avoids giving occasion to Jew haters.

(01.12.09)
They joint muslims and other in Anti Israel rallies. Very affraid for their own bodies and for being hated, and that is very sad. Israel or not those Jews will always be hated because they have not pride and Jews only because they were born Jews.

16. Not at all what I worry about
Brett Cohen ,   Burlington, Vt   (01.12.09)
I fear Israel flinching before craven and bigotted world opinion far more than I fear some goons shouting slogans. Be strong Israel, the world Jewish community supports you.

Cynthia ,   USA   (01.12.09)
a paper bag. Stay in Russia.
18. This will never change
USA   (01.12.09)
And those who say, this can not happen in the United States are dead wrong, it can and it probably will. Why continue living as minorities in Galut if it's possible to live a Jewish majority in a Jewish State. I live in the states but I know time is coming when I have to leave.

20. To Russian Ibrahim

21. Anti-Zionism and “Peace”.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (01.12.09)
The Western champions of "peace" have opted to sell Israel and the Jews out to the Jihadists because as anti-Semites, Western "anti-Zionists" fear Jewish power and therefore want us to be weak. So it is that for the past 40 years, European governments and the US State Department have bankrolled anti-Zionist groups in Israel like "Peace Now", "B'tselem" and "Four Mothers". So it is that they have blamed Israel for Palestinian terrorism. And even when Israel succumbs to all their demands for territorial withdrawals, they always manage to demand still more. 22. Once I come home
Boris ,   USA   (01.12.09)
I made alia once and sudenly "realized" that I am "rusi masriah". I stll love Israel , but sorry...
23. it's the immigrants
www.eurabia.tk ,   Netherlands   (01.12.09)
I am from Holland and the antisemitic tendenses I see, are in most cases coming from muslim immigrants. In 90% of the cases they are the ones causing troubles. The other 10% native Dutch demonstrators is just stupid, naive dhimmis, who walk with the crowd and refuse to see the truth about the muslims. Mostly when I talk to native Dutch people, almost each one of them agrees with me that Israel is right with this operation, and that Hamas is a bunch of scum that needs to be destroyed. We are getting tired of it here as well...as you might know, Europe has lots of problems with muslim immigrants. They are the ones being antisemitic. They are the ones rioting, attacking Jews and Jewish property, shouting antisemitic slogans, etcetera. You don't see native Dutch people doing those things here (not even the native Dutch people who demonstrate against Israel). They don't turn violent, only the muslims turn violent. You see the same thing in other European countries too: it's not the natives who make riots, it's the muslims. And in fact, the muslim immigrants hate us as well. Maybe they hate the Jews and Israel more, but they definitely hate us too. Us, our values, our society and everything we stand for. Many people here are sick and tired of them, but our government just closes their eyes for the problems. It's like that in Holland, but also in Belgium, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Britain, etcetera, etcetera. The list is endless. We have a 'war' of our own here, only most people don't realize it yet. I (and many people with me) am 100% behind Israel: be strong, don't give up! We support you!!
24. I agree with John
Naomi ,   Tel Aviv   (01.12.09)
and no one should tell anyone else where to live either. One day Yom Tov, one Seder night, plus wearing a kippah in public (and public places) are all part of the z'chut, privilege, or kef (perks!) of living here in Israel. They want to/choose to, stay in the Golah, that's fine. When I was growing up in London many many years ago, no one wore a kippa in public (it was called it a 'kappel' back then) and didn't moan about it either. The religious men and boys kept their heads covered, yes, of course, but a kippah? That was for at home and Shul, or your Jewish school if you attended one.
25. #2 Lawrence Tendler
Marc ,   Switzerland   (01.12.09)
"The Hatred Was Always There,Lying dormant". Have you ever wondered why?
26. Kippas do have a useful purpose....
Bandar (Hezbollah) ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (01.12.09)
They do help us aim better!
27. Yes indeed be scared...a world outraged means
Lior ,   Israel   (01.12.09)
that Jews are defending ourselves from a TERRORIST society hell bent on destroying us speaks loudly as to our worth. Make no mistake, this is what the outrage is about. It always was! I have NEVER witnessed this kind of outrage over Darfur or the poor Kurds, never. read this: Palestinian betrayal of the Kurds http://www.kurdmedia.com/article.aspx?id=9748 You may not agree with every word but this is a brilliant summation of a world who continually blinks and ignores real terror yet screams, harasses and condemns Israel at every step of the way.
28. #22 Your loss
Lee ,   Israel   (01.12.09)
It takes guts and pride to come here, STAY here and see all your children go the Army. 'Rusi masriach' or 'britti' as we were/are called, ( they really hated the british when we arrived, some still do) becomes a meaningless minor irritation. All I can say is "wow, weren't you lucky", if that was the worst thing you experienced.
29. don't they deserve it?
observer   (01.12.09)
So, they have to shoulder their responsibility.
30. French Jews: I believe you were warned some years ago
Rami ,   London   (01.12.09)
If you're still hanging around France after the Israeli government told you to get out, then you have only yourselves to blame.
