Why was this man released? He demonstrated, by his actions, that he was an enemy of Israel. Doesn't Israel respect that soldier's life (the IDF soldier.) Why was this man given over to the Palestinians? At the very least, he committed the crime of attempted theft (of the weapon.)

If IDF had me in handcuffs, I'd be too busy soiling myself to try and grab a soldier's gun. On the other hand, if it was Hamas, I wouldn't need to grab a gun because I can spit very far.
