And why does the fact that Hamas demonstrably aims to achieve a holocaust of its own leave him so unmoved? Kaufman's bringing up the Holocaust in this context does two things. First, it shows the intellectual dishonesty in setting up a false argument, then knocking it down in order to be seen to be scoring a point. Second, he betrays the memory of Holocaust victims by equating them with Hamas terrorists.
