I agree 100% with the sentiment of ACRI.... just wondering, has a similar ad by a Palestinian NGO ever appeared in the Arab media condeming attacks by Hamas. And moreover, would not ACRI's add be beter placed in the Palestinian press so they see we are not out to kill they're children.

Everyone has a soft spot for children but do these same sft hearted groups have a soft spot for the children in the south that have been living in terror for the past eight years? Do they have any tears for the children that have been hurt or maimed ? Do they pray for the recovery of Orel ben Angela who was seriously hurt from a grad missile yesterday. I doubt it. Their misguided empathy is what put Israelis in the security situation that we are in now. They should be writing to Hamas and asking them why they put chilren into buildings and use them as human shields. Why do they hide they weapons in private homes and hospitals and by the way why does the U.N. allow Hamas to shoot from its buildings and then cry to the world?

ACRI only mourns arab deaths in Israel and has NEVER stood up to protest the death and injuries of JEWISH children in Israel! Why is that?? Why is it OK when JEWS DIE and are wounded but when an arab dies or is wounded then there is a huge outcry by sick one sided organizations like ACRI.

Except when Jews are the victims. Over 7000 rockets were fired at Israeli civilians by the terrorists who were FREELY put in authority by the residents of gaza, just like the nazis were by the Germans. Where was the ACRI when our citizens were being subjected to that daily onslaught - with casualties? As usual, with these so-called "civil rights" groups, they mean "civil rights" for arabs, NOT Jews!

After we've all seen the videos of Hamas gunmen grabbing children as they go into the open to use as shields from snipers, and pictures of them firing from schools it seems ACRI is misdirected in appealing to us and not to Hamas.

The doctrine of Hamas is to kill as many Jews children as possible. Do they care who they kill. IDF is risking the lives of their soldiers not to hit civilians. If Hamas would not be using children as human shields there would be NOT one child killed. ACRI wants to change the world. Let them begin with themselves and HAMAS and maybe they can change the world. If they would want to put an ad in a HAMAS newspaper that Hamas is killing children they would never be able to do that. ACRI your job is to change Hamas and their doctrine and you should be proud of Israel that you have a democratic country that is fighting to protect each and every citizen.

These people are quick to criticise yet offer no solution for the many countries being attacked by similar jihadi organisations. As well, Hamas has openly come out and said they want children targeted and attacked all over the world.

Many years ago my mother contributed to a full page ad in the New York times for something very similar. She wanted Israel to concede to the two state solution and felt the Israeli government was trying hard enough - Today she admits her mistake. Like ACRI, I too am saddened by the death of innocents but I'm not sorry. Israeli acted honorably and did not purposely target those children. Unfortunately there are innocent causalities in every war. Those children were sacrificed by Hamas and only Hamas bears the responsibility for their deaths. ACRI has misdirected their message, well meaning as it is.

It looks that what the Israeli army is good at is killing civilians & destroying residential buildings, hospitals & U.N. buildings. They couldn't achieve any of their war objectives so far. Everybody knows that you have one of the strongest army in the world. Armed with the most modern & sophisticated weapons. Yet, you failed to achieve a real victory against poorly equiped small phalestenian enclave. Remember, victory will never be measured by the number of people you kill or the number of buildings you destroy. Terrorists only use that as a victory measure.

reading these comments by you all is greatly discouraging. Why do people no longer have compassion for human life? If 300 people, anywhere, are killed (especially children) you should feel remorse. if my enemies children die, i would feel remorse for them. if my own children die, i would feel remorse for them. if some stranger's children die, i would feel remorse for them. it is the right thing, it is what make us human. you are supposed to feel remorse for the loss of human life PERIOD. even for your enemies, especially for your enemies, because as you take the life of your enemy you have to remember to remorse their loss or you are nothing more than an animal. i would have thought that god's supposed chosen people would know this....
