What were doing Hamas gunmen in your house?
4. i am sorry doctor but don't expect anything barak or anybody
al thor ,   sheffield   (01.18.09)
This doctor must be responsible for the birth of so many Israelis And his own flesh and blood has been killed by the very race that he has worked to preserve He brought Israel's future to the world... and they have taken his future

Jenny ,   Tel Aviv   (01.18.09)
With all my heart I wish to support the feellings of Dr. Abu Al Aish, and I share his pain. I know a lot of people, like me, feel very very sorry for this terrible disgrace happened on his family. I feel sorry also to hear that somebody could think that a man like him, after what happened, is doing "propaganda". I feel ashamed to hear that, and I´m sure I´m speaking in the name of most of the people of Israel. We all wish a good recovery to his only remaining daughter and our prayers are with her.
7. Who's the one living under Hamas rule?
Kurt ,   san diego   (01.18.09)
Who's the one living under Hamas? You could have left the country, but you chose not to. You knew it would eventually come to war., but you stayed anyway.
8. 1 Zohan its a real loss for him 2 Mohammed
S Judah ,   London   (01.18.09)
True God will judge, he will judge Hamas very harshly, they will all go to hell as they have sacrificed many innocent lives with their evil behavior. Why don't you have the courage to speak about the evils of Hamas who are the real enemy of Gaza. As for the Soldiers, firstly you do not know if it was them or if Hamas that did this and secondly the Soldiers would not have done such a thing deliberately. God will most certainly judge. And last but not least of all we are truly saddened for the loss that the Dr has suffered and we wish him comfort from Heaven.
9. Do you want an explanation?
David ,   Houston, TX   (01.18.09)
War is Hell. You can not refine it!
10. Here's the truth
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (01.18.09)
Shrapnel retrieved from the wounds is from a Grad rocket. HAMAS bombed the house.
11. very sorry
Bill ,   Washington DC   (01.18.09)
I heard your "live" cell phone call on Channel 10 Nana News. Very sad. By the way, CT scans on one of your daughter's brains indicate that it was NOT IDF munitions that hit her. It was Hamas.
12. Anger is A Form Of Pride
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (01.18.09)
say the Sages. This doctor' s anger seems to have lost connection with reality. Does he really think that in the middle of a war action his apartment building was spared the presence of Hamas when we are told by an Israeli soldier (see A-7) that virtually every house he saw in Gaza as a sweeper before tanks was booby-trapped with grenades? Did this doctor have a private arrangement with Hamas through bribery? Or did he think he and his family were immune because of some sort of respect? I cannot get past this doctor's misplaced ego--this does not seem to me grief over his dead children but anger that his orders were not carried out. His story is sad, however no sadder than that of many Jews; his behavior and accusations are distasteful.
13. Very sad day!
Moshe ,   tel aviv   (01.18.09)
My heart aches for your loss doctor Abu Al aish. May God bless you and give you the strength to carry on with your life, if for nothing but for your other children. May those three rest in peace. I am ashamed to be Jewish when I read posts like #1 and #3. Israel owes you a sincere apology.
14. #5 Danae
Avi ,   Israel   (01.18.09)
What the hell are you trying to say? Can you write in English please?
15. Deepest Condolences
Nicole ,   Canada   (01.18.09)
I wish Dr. Abu al-Aish my sincerest and deepest condolences.
16. 5 Al Thor - what knowledge do you have
S Judah ,   London   (01.18.09)
to introduce such suppositions into this sad story. Where is your rage at the evil of Hamas who have brought nothing but disaster and hell to Gaza. The truth of the Middle East is not found on Al Jazeera, The BBC or the Guardian, nor in the rantings of Hamas, Hezbullah, Iran or Bin Ladin. Open your eyes and check out the trouble spots of the world , there is a common factor to most of these. Face up to it Al!
17. #7 Kurt
Moshe ,   tel aviv   (01.18.09)
Kurt, all I can say is that you are an idiot.
18. You must be playing a sick prank Zohan
Olivia ,   Amman   (01.18.09)
No decent man would make such a terrible comment. Therefore I shall presume you are nothing more than a bored teenager, addicted to video games and graphic violence - divorced from its brutality, reality and heartache.
19. #1 you are typical black heart petty imbecile
George ,   Canada   (01.19.09)
20. #18 Olivia -I may be cruel; but that's true
Zohan ,   Tel Aviv   (01.19.09)
If that's what you ppl believe in. Just that sometimes, truth hurts.
21. Judging from some of the talkbacks here
Marlene N. ,   New York City   (01.19.09)
it's no wonder why this world has lost its humanity. The indifference shown to this doctor is inhuman, as well as the entire atrocities perpetrated upon the Gazans, and all the Palestinians in general.
22. Thats it this media circus has got to end!
Sick of this BS ,   Enough already!   (01.19.09)
Why dont they go to darfur and interview some real tragedy victims instead of this spotlight-huggin Hamas propagandist!
23. 1
Igor ,   Munich, Germany   (01.19.09)
you are nuts, dude!
24. Just wait a second
Elihu ,   Efrat, Israel   (01.19.09)
We do not have enough information to lay blame definitive blame for these particualr deaths anywhere, yet. The doctor has suffrered a tragic loss. Talkbackers who attack him thoughtlessly should think again. However, we need to understand what happened here and we don't have the information, yet. Perhaps it is best to wait just a moment before screaming at each other mindlessly.
25. Very sad .
Nick ,   US   (01.19.09)
I do not think Barak has gone to bed at night with a clear conscience for a very, very long time.
26. If #10 is true, then, #18,19 & 23 are fools
Zohan ,   Tel Aviv   (01.19.09)
( alongside with Olmert )_to believe this whole propaganda.
27. Of Course it was an Accident...
Craig ,   USA   (01.19.09)
Israelis didn't intentionally target your daughters for God's sake man; Islamic terrorists do that. My heart goes out to you for your loss and this terrible tragedy...but when did you speak out against Hamas in the past? Why were your children anywhere in range of the fighting where a slight miscalculation might endanger them? My family would have been camping out somewhere far far away if need be once the fighting started. Now you can imagine a bit how Israelis feel when their children are blown apart intentionally in the name of Allah...no mistakes there, only cheers from the Palestinians it seems. As one poster so succinctly stated..."War is Hell."
28. Dr. Abu al-Aish
Tania   (01.19.09)
Dear Doctor Abu al-Aish: I am very, very sorry for your loss. You know, however, that horrible things like this happen in war. We still have to find out who bombed the building. Maybe Hamas people were angry you worked in Israel and considered you a traitor; you know they went into Gaza hospitals and killed people they thought traitors and with no trial. You saw your family was immediately taken to Israel for treatment, so it wasn't State policy to murder your family. It is known however that Hamas booby-trapped every place possible; I saw a tape of a a booby-trapped school. Are you sure that while you were away in Israel, there were no terrorists firing from your roof? You also say "the Israeli soldies knew because I told them which was my house". There are many soldiers and some may not have known. Also, you remember well that Israeli soldiers were unfortunately killed by Israeli soldiers. Again, horrible things like this happen in war. I know I can't feel your pain but I wish that God give you strength to bear your terrible tragedy.
29. Sorry Doc
Natan   (01.19.09)
I am truly sorry for your loss. The one who owes you an answer is Haniyeh not Barak... Yes. i will ask Haniyeh and his thugs the reason for firing hundreds of missiles to kill our civilians. we did not wish death on your children and shame on your leaders for makig us do it. The late Israeli PM Golda Meir once said:" I may forgive you for killing our children, i wil not forgive you for making us kill yours"
30. Why Not Question Hamas?
USABorn   (01.19.09)
Israel did not have a choice. They wanted the bombings of Israel by The citizens of Gaza must stop Hamas from attacking Israel with bombs or this will only happen again. Israel was very patient but Hamas would not and will not stop.
