Hamas fighters were fighting to death and prevented IDF from reaching the heart of Gaza for 22 days. Hamas's weapons are nothing compared to the top technology the IDF has. These tunnels were up and running during the war with iran rushing rockets. You can't destroy deep tunnels by the air. The IDF wanted phase 3 to send in ground troops to destroy the lighted deep tunnels but kadima and labor said no.

The big story among Palestinians is that HAMAS men were ordered to hide when the ground war began. So they left other smaller groups like Islamic Jihad alone. That's why Islamic Jihad had hire casualties than HAMAS. Especially in the Zeitune district where Hamas men withdrew before Israel arrived.

I dunno what you 're trying to prove with this comment you posted on here; but, in the Gaza war, media in Israel was all muzzled up & controlled by the IDF... Reporters from all sorts of foreign agency were complaining the Israeli policy of not permitting them to report from the battlefield or from Israel ... What was Israel exactly trying to hide ? About once a year, at some random time and without specific provocation, Israel has to go back into Gaza and give them another clobbering like this one. Then we will see the Gazan Arabs finally relax their onslaught on our innocent civilians. Maybe.
