1. Even Egypt sees Kadima as a bunch of wimps.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (01.26.09)
Egypt has it's own interests which have nothing to do with OUR interests. Sadly, Kadima's interests have nothing to do with our interests either.
2. JEHOSHAPHAT
Goyim ,   UK   (01.26.09)
Hudna, truce, hudna, truce, hudna truce, when we are strong again we will fight you till we destroy you. Thisis Hamas islamic jihad style and they will not rest till they (if possible and actually impossible) destroy israel. This is Jihad. Has anyone been able to convince Hamas to re-write its charter and renounce their passion for wanting to destroy islael as past of the global jihad of islam? Anyway Hamas will be destroyed according to Zechariah chapter 12. JEHOSHAPHAT to Hamas and all their allies.
3. Nothing radical about defending yourself
Matityahu ,   Slovenia   (01.26.09)
The media is endlessly bombing us with the term "far right" or "radical right" while we in fact have a radical left in power for way too long time in Israel. Let me give you an example of far left government; Yitzhak Rabin's leadership, constantly ignoring warnings from our security forces' warnings about Arafat's real intentions and insisting on peace at the expence of the Israeli civilians who were getting killed and mutilated by the suicide bombings. The rate of bombings only decreased when Bibi came to power, the so called ''extreme rightist''. I would expect just a little more love for the truth and integrity from the media, but obviously that makes me too much if an idealist in these times.
4. Terry,1#, two more weeks
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (01.26.09)
Lets hope that we will be rid of Kaima and Labour in 15 more days. Likud with Netanyahu (Likud) gets at least 31 seats and Lieberman's party gets at least 14 seats. The other 15 needed can come from the Jewish home party and by paying off the religious parties. If a right of center coalition can get close to 65 mandates then we can have a stable government for many years in the future.
5. NO EXEPTION
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (01.26.09)
Why put your hopes in Bibi who mumbles the same way as all the other fools. Bib was a very weak PM and just gave away Hebron. People just have no memory , this whole election campaign is a set up , were the same rubbish just does a very lucrative chair dance with the same recycled loosers over and over again. How easy is it to give people the impression that they have a vote that counts.
6. Bibi ???? ha
(01.26.09)
Is this is not the one he was one day a PM and announced no peace deal with Yasser Arafat and a few weeks later he was shaking his hands and almost signed the deal with him .... is there anyone anymore in Israel believe him ... he is a good movie star .... more not .

8. we lost the war & achieved nothing thanks to Kadima & Labour
zionist forever   (01.26.09)
As much as I want Gilad Shalit brought back not uder these conditions. Over 1000 terrorists some of them killers, since Rabin started all of this we have released thousands of terrorists in good will gestures and hundreds of them have gone onto kill again. The man behind the 2002 Park Hotel bomb had been released as a gesture. Now its not only a gesture but a deal on Hamas terms and Livni will probably take it thinking that it will buy her the election. Hamas are once again setting the terms of the hudna. HAS THIS WAR ACHIEVED ANYTHING? We are still being dictated to by Hamas on issues like hudnas and borders, what its going to cost to get Gilad back which is also a price to hgh unless we want soilders & civilians taken every day. Hamas are already trying to start up the tunnel network again and both Iran & Syria have pledged Hamas new weapons and money. Iran has also offered Hamas new long ranger rockets that can hit Tel Aviv & beyond. Egypt is still monitoring Raffah possibly with some help from Turkey but as soon as things calm down and Obama settles in as president this will proably die off and we can't trust any European or even American international forces Lebanon is the example they just want to put on a show of force long enough to bring the fighting in Gaza to an end for good. We spent billions of dollars, both civilians ans soilders killed, our image abroad destroyed, they are now talking about war crimes trials, any regained deterence we gained during the war we lost with the political solution we chose possibly even made worse because we showed Lebanon wasn.t a one off we are willing to settle things on terrorist terms all the time What have we got in return for all this NOTHING Just a few improovements to the situations here and there other than that Hamas are still running the show. If the IDF had been allowed to start this war and take it to its conclusion Hamas would have been finished as a military force in Gaza. Gilad Shalit could have been brought back and not for over 1000 terrorists which garuntees that Gilad comes home today there will be two more Gilad taken tommorow because kidnapping Israelis is so profitable for terrorists. The Olmert, Livni Barak regime has brought upon us a political solution thats even worse than 1701. Now Livni is going to pay any price Hamas demans to get Shalit back so she can call herself the heroine so we should vote for her, Kadima have already been saying if they do that it can turn the election around for them. Thanks to this regime we have fought a war that cost us so much for so little. Even if Livni does pay off Hamas to get Gilad back just weeks before the election the public must not be stupid enough to fall for this trick & give kadima another chance.

I neither like or trust Bibi much but I don't think anybody can be worse than Livni and he at least will be under preasure to form a coalition with rightists like Yisrael Beitanu who will be able to exert some influence. Livni will invite Likud & Labour into her coalition we will have leftist Labour and kadima along with a taked Likud and the right will be sidelined. We need a Likud majority to keep Livni out then a coalition with YB sadly we will have to pay off the religious parties as usual and give for image at least some seats to either Kadima or Labour but at least the majority of the coalition could be rightist who will hopefully stop Bibi straying to far left. We need to have tactical voting here. If you want to vote for a rightist party go for Liberman not the small ones who have no hope of being invited into a coalition and obviusly Likud as its only Likud who can beat Livni and then allow the rightists to join the coalition rather than be tamed themselves by Livni.
10. #4 Judah, Golan Hts - ISRAEL
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (01.26.09)
Ha, ha - I add up coalition possibilities every time I see a poll. I may not be a fan of Netanyahu but in a right-wing coalition without Kadima & Labour, there's at least a chance for a better gov't. What never ceases to amaze me is that after all that has happened over the last few years, Kadima could ANY votes at all. Same for Labour.
11. To #5 Know Your History
karen US/Australia ,   Australia   (01.26.09)
Giving away Hebron was part of the OSLOW agreement and Bibi was forced by Clinton to fulfill it. Rabin was part of the Oslow agreement. Remember why he took the bullet?????? Just as important if not more so watch what Olmerd promises that Bibi will be forced by Obama to fulfill.

13. Hamas think they've had it bad with Tzipi
Talula ,   Israel   (01.26.09)
Wait until Bibi takes over. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!
14. The Beginning Of The End For Hamas
Bill Foonman ,   jacksonville, USA   (01.26.09)
Hamas is too dumb to accept whatever it can get. There will be no aid to Gaza as the EU is smart enough to know that with the smuggling continuing as usual and the Mad Mullahs rearming Hamas it is only a matter of time before Netanyahu finishes the job. Obama will get a few doses of Islamic fundamentalist BS, lies and intransigence and there will be zero support for Hamas, Hezbollah and their Iranian masters - allowing Israel to do what the civilized world should have done a long time ago - to put these rabid dogs down.

16. Israel strengthened not weakened Hamas RIGHT ???
M. S. ,   mpls   (01.26.09)
I realize with regards to Shalit and the other options of any deal with Hamas over Gaza the invasion war only strengthened Hamas not weakened it as Israel with drew before any real victorys were achieved 1 300 were killed many wounded but that was it hardly amounts to a hill of beans Israel showed how weak stupid divided it is not a biblicial people for sure RIGHT ??? Thank You... M. S.
