I speak only on behalf of myself. I used to have a lot of good feelings about Israel from the very onset. I mean I thought the Jews had every right to have a home State of their own, and so on. I believed everything the western media, Hollywood included, had to say about the sorrounding arab peoples wanted to erase you from the planet and I knew nothing about any atrocities commited by the israelis against some arabs. I still know very little, but some. Then, I was shown by the same western media the infamous Sabra and Shatila mess and Ariel Sharon. It felt horrible to see jews abusing to the extent of extintion a large group or human beings with no good discerning. It felt worse to see much later Ariel Sharon becoming Israel Prime Minister. Nowadays, I'd say I'm skeptical about how to believe what reality shows. You had a real problem with Hamas sending you missiles for too long a time while you were warning them? Well, I guess you had the right to defend your people and your land. Did you have to do that with an invasion which meant killing, again, without discerning the innocent from the ones who deseved the rataliation?
