Trying to win sympathy after being humiliated by Erdogan>
2. Marco. I am proud of Peres
Dato ,   Ukraine,Israel   (01.31.09)
He is a real peacemaker and peace loving man. And Erdogan will get his own portion from his army. Islamists raises heads in Turkey, not about this dreamed Ataturk.
3. #1 Erdogan was leaving after hearing applause for Peres!
Tahl ,   Israel   (01.31.09)
That filthy Israel-hater just couldn't take the humiliation from having the audience cheer for Peres' speech, so he got up and left like some spoiled child. And he still hasn't answered Peres' question, what would he have done, if missiles were falling on Istanbul? So if anything, Erdogan is trying to win sympathy in the babaric Muslim world, while the western world (aside for Israel-hating creeps like you) looks at him with disdain.
4. Erdogan the Lion
Sami ,   Dubai   (02.01.09)
Its pathatic in this day and ago who dates speaks against Isreal is still labled antisimite. Erdogan spoke the simple truth, exposed Perez and the Isreali fairies for what they are, cowards who dishout punshimet aginst the old, weak and espically their favorate, the young. I suppose no one cares to comment about reception Ardogan received when her returned home........
5. Hamas is a Jew-killing machine.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (02.01.09)
There is no moral equivalence between Hamas terrorists and Israeli soldiers. There is no gray area. There is no point in negotiations. Hamas is a Jew-killing machine. It exists to destroy Israel. What is there to negotiate? When Hamas can't kill Jews, it's perfectly willing to drive Palestinian civilians into the line of fire - old men, women and children. Hamas herds the innocent into "shelters," then draws Israeli fire on them. And the headline-greedy media cheer them on. More about the war with Hamas at : http://xrl.us/bechf2
6. Tahl and the Isrealis...
Matt ,   Us   (02.01.09)
why is that everytime someone disagrees with Israels policies or actions, they are automatically an Israel hater? Can't anyone just disagree with you? Is your country that moral and nobel that no on can question your actions and motives? Jew and Israelis alike need to engage in a real debate about the issues at hand, instead of regressing to the childish name calling whenever some disagrees with your countries policies. When people bash Bush/Obama, i don't assume they hate America, i just assume they disagree with their policies. I suggest you and your Jewish brethern grow up and start taking some constructive critisism. Lord knows, none of us our perfect, but Israel really needs to do some serious self reflection if it ever really wants peace.
7. To Marco
Kidon 77   (02.01.09)
This is the pig erdogan that humiliated himself. He get out like the vile coward he was, not abl to withstand the truth said by president Peres. Now Turkey has lost the mediating role that was given to her for peace talks with Syria. The electoralist move of erdogan will backfire; the ceonomical crisis will soon or later bring down the AKP. On eshould be very ignorant of the Middle east problem to issue a statement like yours !

It depends on who is doing the bashing. If Americans do it, they don't hate America, if Iranians do it, well, put two and two together yourself. There is a difference between disagreeing with policies -- I assume you agree with the Hamas policy of trying to destroy Israel, since you say nothing about it -- and using words like "holocaust" to describe the deaths of a couple of hundred terrorists, and "civilians" and "freedom fighters" to describe, well, terrorists. And yes, actually, our country is that moral and noble that no country which has pulled the kinds of tricks as have the United States, Turkey, Spain and Britain can even begin to criticize us.
9. Peres should learn a lesson
The Perescope ,   Ramat Aviv, Israel   (02.01.09)
The lesson he still hasn't learned as a result of his disasterous Oslo Accords. The Palestinians will NEVER accept our right to exist and live alongside us in peace.

There is a major difference between disagreeing with Israel's policies, and inciting against it, out of pure hatred. When Condoleeza Rice said she opposes the continuation of expanding the settlements - that's called disagreement. There may be a difference of opinion between her and the Israeli right - but clearly she is not an Israel-hater. Even when the EU calls Israel not to respond too forcibly to Hamas attacks - we in Israel may disagree with that, but that's still a legitimate difference of opinions. On the other hand, when Erdogan and other Muslims calls Israel "child killers", and say that we kill civilians on purpose, while completely ignoring our side - well then - that's pure incitement, based on nothing but hate. Otherwise, how would you explain it that these very same Muslims, completely ignore much worse atrocities committed by Muslim countries against their own populations? Why is only Israel demonized? Same thing with this Marco. I wouldn't have called him a creep for nothing - he had gained this very fairly, with many virulent TB's he had posted in the past weeks. There is a major difference between legitimate debate, which I'm all for, and hystical demonization. We in Israel certainly have a lot of inner debate and self-criticism with regards to our war on terror and the progression of the peace process. All in all, I believe that Israel, while not perfect (none of us are, as you say) - is still much more moral and humane than any other country at war - certainly more than any Arab country, certainly more than Russia, and more than your own USA. And none of these countries face the threats we're facing. Still, we unfairly face a lot more heat from the international community. We're open do debate, but at least make it fair, balanced, and with the same scrutiny as debates on other disputes of the world.
11. How did Hamas learn when they don't have brains
Zohan ,   Tel Aviv   (02.01.09)
12. Learn you first from the history
(02.01.09)
Before you advice the others , more than 60 years passed and you and your people didn't learn anything you repeat your self and your mistakes all the time like you are all programmed like this , you remeber Yasser Arafat the you called him the terrorist and the PLO the terrorist organisation and later you was obliged to sit head to head with him and to shake his hand and to share Nobel price with him ... you remember ? what did you learn from this ??? nothing you repeat your self again with Hmmas , if in your age you don't learn ... when then ?

Your post reflects your failures and your frustrations. When you have no viable argument, you resort to name calling and threats. Is that what Jewish civilization is all about? By the way, you are not doing Erdogan any favor as far as the mediations with Syria are concerned. He is doing you the favor. Use that little bit of meat that you have in your head to think before you speak. Have a nice day, idiot.
