The minister of EVICTIONS Barak says that hamas suffered a massive blow Barak really lives and believes in dreams. The IDF only scratched the paint Barak with the corrupt Olmert and the flussie tied the Hands of the IDF and only caused a little diplomatic caos. They utilise the incursion for political reasons which has now backfired
2. What kind of military mind makes an announcement like this?

What level of stupidity forces the Defense minister to announce that we will not attack? Where is the value in declaring 99% of your deterrence will not be used? This man is dangerous.

Can't he ever just STFU? He isn't making any f'...ing decisions. He's not the PM. Livni says Israel will launch another operation if we need to (which of course is the only thing to say) and this strupid bastard says no we're not. This is why for all his wonderful military background he's a big looser as a politician. The only thing stupider than him was Amir Peretz, but not by much. Labor is finished.
6. The US Hostages in Iran were released after Carter was

Booted out of office and after Reagan took office as the president. The people of America were disgusted with the miserable failures of Jimmy Carter and told him so in no uncertain terms. Similarly the people of Israel are about to throw out Tzipi and Barak while Olmert takes up his new residence in prison. Operation Cast Lead was a picnic compared to what the Likud will do in Gaza and we can expect Hamas to beg us to take Shalit back. Just like the US hostages returned after Carter was discarded, Shalit will be back after we wipe and flush Kadima.

The Hitnatkut was supposed to bring a peaceful regime toGaza and allow Israel to react if attacked. All these concepts have failed. If Israel retreats from Judea and Samaria according to the Livni/Barak plan, Israel will be indefensible. Rockets will strike the population centers and airports, and the IDF will be helpless. At least for now, Israel must do everything to stay in Judea and Samaria.

Unfortunately for the civilians in southern Israel, your government is only going to protect you by threats to your enemies. It's game over as far as Barak is concerned. He's said it outright there will be no Operation Cast Lead 2. In other words, hamas has indeed won this war and you folks are going to have to put up with the continual rocket fire while your government cowers in fear to International pressure. I seriously feel for the civilian population of Israel.
