And they are clamoring for more.(with the usual results) Adding to the list of worthless leaders, idiots, are Ban Ki Moon and Olmert for their involvement in prolonging the misery that the population of Gaza must endure. Let's face it,The arab world doesn't give a damn about Hamas, Fatah, Allah's rejects. Their approach, not only wise but clever? Let the stupid European and American take care of our sh...t. Hamas is likely to have at least two purposes in stealing UN food supplies & other humanitarian goods. It wants to be seen as the hands distributing these items instead of the UNWRA so as to get gratefulness from the populace that has reasons to hate it for bringing the destruction in Gaza. It also probably wants to use this tactic to reward only the privileged members of Hamas at the expense of those who are not supporters. Israel should make use of these events to inform Gazans of the disregard of Hamas for basic rules of humanitarian behaviour in discriminating among its own population.

This is a disproportionate response to theft. They were citizens taking the aid, not Ham-ass. How can the UN taking food away from starving, sick, helpless people, women and children? This is propoganda to say that Ham-ass took aid. The UN should be charged with Aid Crimes.

Construction aid was used to build bunkers. Metal pipes intended for usr in water treatment were used for rockets. Food aid was stolen and sold. Schools were used to teach innocent children to hate Jews. Medical aid was used to treat wounded Hamas gunmen instead of kids, and internationally funded medical care was denied entirely to Fatah supporters. Cash was used to finance Hamas' own control over the Strip. None of this is at all new. My only question is - WHAT TOOK UNRWA SO LONG?

It comes as no surprise, to me, that aid for the Gazan people is being stolen by various Gazans in leadership/power positions. To me, it has seemed that the 'regular' Gazan citizens were getting very little, while their leaders & those in favor received the majority of the aid. Seems to have been going on for years, I wonder why the UN is suddenly admitting this? I wonder if it's too much to hope for that aid is distributed fairly in the future?
