She has won the popular vote. I am happy for the high turn out. It means democracy is at work. We need to also confront the fact that Likud has two or so seats less, and a massive showing in the government. If Livni does not attempt to attract Likud to it's coalition nothing will happen. Labor is out. Shas and other right wing parties don't want anything to do with her. Bibi is her best chance to get a lot of seats quickly. It is a difficult position she will need to lean right in a big way to get a coalition going.

I voted for your party in the last election, people laughed and said it was a wasted vote, but you got in with a lot more than expected. I can only say, you had the chance , did nada . I am a pensioner who did actually waste my vote. Now Kadima has a new leader, so can just wish Mrs Livni all the luck, she will need all she can get.
10. Political Arrogance
moshe kerr ,   Be'er Sheva Israel   (02.11.09)
Bibi you pulled a Rabin when you uprooted the primary results. So mister right wing dictator of Likud, the right wing made impressive gains and you sought to make your appeal as a centralist party. I am really laughing.
11. Dream On Kadima Gang.....
Adina Kutnicki ,   Israel, new olah   (02.11.09)
Itzik and Livni can crow all they want, but reality has a way of biting back. First, the results are only from polling. Second, ALL the votes are not counted, particularly that of soldiers. I doubt they went in Livni's direction. Further, when Likud was smaller Livni couldn't form a gov't. Dream on.....
12. own up... which idiots voted Lieberman?

if Livni wins I hope you all feel very ashamed of yourselves for not voting Netanyahu!!
