Canada   (02.11.09)
He's a bully! Maybe he should cast aside political aspirations for once in his life, and this time join a Kadima led coalition with the Labor party. That would actually be the best option as it would include Right, Centre, and Left. A truly 'nationalist' government. The guy has always been a spinster, starting the day his brother heroically died, and he jumped at the bit to use it to his advantage.
2. Abass/livini/Bibi rotations

6. This boob never had a mandate from anybody....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (02.11.09)
First he took over from a shell shocked public following the assasination of PM Rabin and the horror of a PM Peres, did a shitty job as PM himself and now he calls these results, an actual LOSS to Kadima, a mandate from the people? What a moron.
7. # 1 My feelings exactly
Al   (02.11.09)
The guys a turd.. Nothing he says does he believe in. He showed that when he caved like a jackrabbit when Clinton did the Wye thing on him. Say what you want about Labor..they never believed their own BS. It was Sharon the blowheart and Begin who gave up the Sinai and Gaza. Thems the facts folks..Truth is Eshkol pushed for Gush Etzion, Jerusalem and other points. There is no zionist party worth a damn in israel today. What you have are 2nd rate sheisters, con artists and blowhearts leading the Jews of Israel to the abyss. Until and unless you change the political system, you will be lead astray and possibly to your death. Jewish history shows us time and again that the Jews save for few occasions were led to their demise at the hands of their leaders.
8. Hey Bibi
Millicent ,   Israel   (02.11.09)
You forgot one thing Kadima won the election by atleast 1 vote, the people want Kadima, not a liar like you, we threw you out of office once before remember!
9. the best option
Michael ,   Haifa   (02.11.09)
If Livni and Kadima go into the opposition, Netanyahu will come crawling within the year, when the world begins turning the economic screws on him and his racist partners.
10. Give it up Livni, go Bibi!
Sandi   (02.11.09)
11. Bibi: turn Jordan into Palestine, pleaaaasse!!
Khalil ,   Amman, Jordan   (02.11.09)
12. Olmert/Livni
Aron ,   Beer Sheva   (02.11.09)
The Kadima should join Meretz. Ramon can join Labor. Mofaz, Sheetrit and HaNegbi should find a job, real job. These guy are finished and people hate them.
13. Right Wing WIN is a mandate!!!!! Labor loss, hurray!
Yoni   (02.11.09)
As long as BiBi has an all right wing coalition and kadima is powerless maybe we can keep out land and fight the arab fifth column
14. Even if Kadima could get Lieberman...
Stan ,   USA   (02.11.09)
So what? She would only have 56 seats and no one else would join her. Don't forget, not a single Arab party will back Kadima or Labor in anything, all the more so if Lieberman was with them. Likud will not give up and join her for the fun of it, the right has the win, has the seats, only an insane person like Peres would even pretend that Livni had a chance.
15. Chairwoman or Bird?
Shaul ,   Sheboygan   (02.11.09)
Dearest Tzipora, you should ask yourself - Did they vote for Kadima or did they vote for the newest legendary Israeli warhawk?
16. Netanyahu is right
Brod ,   USA   (02.11.09)
The Right Wingers have won. How can the Leftists expect to lead a government of Right Wingers? Netanyahu is right. There should be no rotation. The people have turned to the Right to do things right. If Livni were smart, she should join the Unity government of Right Wingers led by Netanyahu who is an experienced PM and former Finance Minister who turned around Israel's ailing economy.

20. #1 Maybe?
Josh ,   Jerusalem   (02.11.09)
"Maybe he should ... join a Kadima led coalition with the Labor party." No, it is easier to destroy than to create
21. 1. enough of the weak left...they have brought us only pain
(02.12.09)
22. Livni is right.
Daniel ,   San Jose, CA   (02.12.09)
Yup she is right she won the election.. But...... Unless she can create a coalition her government will collapse and we will be right back in the election booth yet again. Peres from my understanding could also ask Bibi to form the new government. Livni could shift right to try and gain an opposition but from the looks of it either she pulls a rabbit out of her hat or we will go through another election process yet again.

from his past errors and will be the leader that Israel needs.
27. To Al #7. SHOULD Pray To YAHWEH.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (02.12.09)
You say :” Until and unless you change the political system, you (i.e. Israeli people) will be lead astray and possibly to your death.” WHY should the political system be changed ? It does NOT matter who rules Israel. What SHOULD be done : all Jews SHOULD pray to YAHWEH, the Supreme Lord -- to give the Israeli rulers intelligence and insight, so that Israel (which includes Judea & Samaria) and the Israelis can remain protected from any harm ; so that Israel, which includes Judea & Samaria, is ruled properly for the benefit of all Israelis. All Jews SHOULD pray to YAHWEH, the Supreme Lord, that all the fears (for inside or outside enemies) of ALL the Israelis be removed from their minds . BTW AI, no sane person should EVER think that he/she can exist without the protection of YAHWEH, the Supreme Lord.
28. #1 you are wrong
Canadian Jew   (02.12.09)
A government comprised of all three major parties is a terrible idea because it will get nothing done. A ruling party/coalition needs to have clear aim and a plan to get there. A government that has too many different view points will never be able to come to a consensus and take action. A government that is determined, whether Left or Right, will get a lot more done than a government that sits in the middle with its hands tied.
29. #16
Tzur Hadassah   (02.12.09)
Are you kidding? He destroyed the Israeli economy as Finance Minister!! How would you even know living in America?
30. The next Government
Spencer ,   Israel   (02.12.09)
It's almost a foregone conclusion the the next Government of Israel will be a coalition led by Bibi Netanyahu. I hope and pray that it will be broad-based and that it will consist of the four big parties, LIKUD, Kadima, Yirael Beteinu and Labour and that the leaders of these parties will see the light of day and have the sense to, once and for all seperate religion and politics and get rid of Shas so that the government can no longer be held to ransom by them. We need to get on with running the Country and not spend all our time trying to appease these political prostitutes. With a strong broad-based coalition we can also better stand up to the demands of our so-called foreign friends.
