Today, we had a rally, a pro Israel rally and took our campus back. Our message was ringing clearly through Vari Hall, "JEWS NEED NOT BE SCARED HERE". After a half an hour of both sides yelling the "other: side left. Vari hall was white and blue, with the Israeli flag, strong and proud! We were dancing the Hora and singing Hatikva and Jerusalem of gold. I've never felt so proud in my life!

Things like this are happening on many campuses in North America. Unfortunately, the incidents seem to be increasing. (I'm sure it happens on other countries' university campuses as well.) If The ADL were to pay attention, and get involved in cases like these, there would be no more reason for the ADL to *suddenly* be alarmed at rising anti-semitism rates in North American Universities. Would be great if an organization like the ADL could bring its resources to bear and keep a spotlight on these campuses. Perhaps provide legal defense & counsel, etc..

Most of the anti-Israel propaganda, whether amongst undergrads or grads is led by CUPE 3903 (look them up, they've got quite a history). These graduate students have an enormous budget, most of which they use to forward their uber-'liberal' causes including, to no small part, anti-Israel work on campus. They are mostly non-Muslems who are supported by Muslim groups who are only too happy to have a bunch of Canucks doing a large share of their dirty work. That's the scary part-- how easily these fresh-faced university students are won over by the "help me, I'm beaten down and afraid" propaganda. Things have been going this way at York for years.
