1. How about letting us know what the cargo was?
Scott   (02.13.09)
Surely, if the shipment contained items and materials that breach UN resolutions, and the Cypriot government actually goes to the lengths that it has - then why are we not informed as to identity of the materials involved? We deserve to know what peace-loving Iran was sending to the pals. May I suggest - no rockets - but all the components you need to make them? Iran to date has been shielded from direct repercussions of its activities around the ME and the world. One day they will pay.
2. 1, Because it is all rubbish. The Americans said weaponary
lydia ,   Brisbane, Australia   (02.14.09)
The Cypriots said no weaponry but material that could make ammunition. Anything can make weapons even medicine bottles. The Gaza peace ship said they had no weapons but Israelis who seized the vessel and impounded the cargo and arrested the people on board found no weapons. The only people being played by the Iranians are you lot.
3. the question is
(02.14.09)
will the unsc punish iran for this transgrssion and disobaying the international rules and laws?????? i am waiting!
4. Good for Cyprus!
Matt C ,   Canada   (02.14.09)
So far, Cyprus is doing better than America did. The Americans let the Iranian ship through for diplomatic reasons, but the Cypriots actually seem to have stopped it! I have been annoyed with Cyprus lately for allowing so many "siege-busting" ships to launch from its land, but this is impressive. If only the Americans had shown the same bravery when they caught this ship, it never would have gotten as far as Cyprus.
5. First they export the fundamentalism, then the terrorism.

6. 3 Israeli owned weapons ship hijacked by pirates
lydia ,   Brisbane   (02.16.09)
Not to forget the Israeli owned Farina and IT'S dangerous cargo of 33 T-72 Soviet- battle tanks, 150 grenade launchers, six anti-aircraft guns and heaps of ammunition, hijacked by Somali pirates.
