If I recall rightly the IDF gave them the weapons a couple of weeks ago- literally threw them at them , but don't worry I'm sure Hamas does intend to give them back. Since Hamas uses the UN as a crutch for everything. (food for their citizens, a shoulder to cry on) one would assume the UN would deal with this one as well. Someone has to take care of the Palestinian citizenry. Israel is very sick of it and god knows Hamas cant do it. The UN would be a good option if they weren't huge idiots. Actually, when they do get ticketed they don't even pay the fines. In fact, the leading scofflaw is our good friend Egypt...the recipient of almost $3 billion a year of your tax money and mine. Not only that, but when family members of diplomats (or the diplomats themselves) commit violent crimes (and there've been several rapes and and a number of drunk driving incidents resulting in serious injuries and one fatality), the most we can do is send them back home. We can't even prosecute them, except in the case of the man who killed a young girl because he was driving while he was totally inebriated and the poor girl died after suffering horrific injuries. And only then because it became a cause celebre among Americans who'd had it up to here with these people going unpunished. So, all things considered, I think it's time to move this moral cesspool the hell out of NYC. Perhaps one of the Third World dictatorships they seem to be so enamored of would be the ideal location.

Can't wait for Iran to get nuclear bombs and equalize the balance of power in the Middle East. Then, Israel can have all the violence it so craves. Israel won't be able to slaughter Iranians the way it did defenseless, Palestinian, civilians who had nowhere to run and hide, and no means of defending themselves.
