in 1996 Labor won more mandates but it was the Likud who made the government. Back then we had the horrible system of direct elections and Netenyahu won. Today, more than ten years later we see that the right has won again for the same reason. The Israelis do not want to divide Jerusalem, do not believe the Arabs intend on giving us peace, and that the way of the Left has been rejected again. If any off you think that there will be a government based on the elections , then for sure you are delussional,do not think that there is a true democratic process here.
