unfortunately ever since the disgraceful way the Yemenites were handled in the 50s, there has been discrimination against them. Within the last 10 years, a large % of those making aliyah ultimately left for NY because they were shocked by how they were being pushed to abandon their religious lifestyles. The Jewish Agency has got to understand that these people have the right to be settled amongst other religious Yemenites, and be given all the help they need in establishing themselves within the religious community.
