Sane Jane ,   Israel   (02.20.09)
We told you so!!!Stupid leftists. You brought this on yourselves!!!!!
2. Why are there still rockets being fired from Gaza?
Confused American ,   Chicago   (02.20.09)
Can someone please explain to me why there are still rockets being fired on a daily basis? Does Hamas have a huge stockpile of rockets or are they being manufactured in Gaza or are they simply being smuggled through the tunnels? You would think they have exhausted their supply by now. They aren't accomplishing anything anymore except make themselves look stupid. Thanks,
3. shoot back with 100 mortars
George ,   Antwerp   (02.20.09)
What does it take to shoot mortars back into Gaza? These ciminals shoot at us without caring for any kind of victims ( children, women, civilians) . Israel should do the same, but 100 times more. Let them feel what it is like to live under a daily rain of rockets and hitting deliberately any kind of victims.
4. to remind Olmert
(02.20.09)
To respect the deals he agreed with the Egyptians and the Palistinians , you are people not to be trusted , you digging the grave of Israel by your hands .... remember this ..... it will happend soon or later ... God bless the respectable genration which respected their words like Mr. Rabin and Mr. Begin .... what you have now is some politics ignorants will drive you to the hell .
5. Hamas must be crushed.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (02.20.09)
Not breaking the resistance force of Hamas today means that hundreds of thousands of Israelis will be brought within range of Hamas rockets later. A ceasefire agreement with Hamas means that we will soon receive a stronger, more protected, better-armed and better-trained Hamas. Cities such as Ashdod, Be'er Sheva and Kiryat Gat are in Hamas-rocket range. Several Hamas leaders have declared: "We will strike beyond Be’er Sheva…" More about Hamas and Gaza : http://xrl.us/bebh94

Ron   (02.20.09)
Qassam rockets are made out of potassuim nitrate mixed with sugar.. These ingredients are very easy to find.. As for why are they still firing...Maybe because the crossings are still closed?
7. #6 Dont tell me big smart...
Later Ron   (02.20.09)
You sound like you sympathize with these imbeciles? "still firing rockets because the crossings are still closed". These idiots were firing rockets even as aid was being brought into Gaza ...precipitating "Cast Lead". You could give these morons all and more...they would never be satisfied".
8. kings
ely ,   usa   (02.20.09)
On that day you will cry out because of your king whom you have chosen for youselves-but HaShem will not answer you on that day 1Samuel 8.18
9. reopen your brain, not the crossing #6
Joseph D ,   Italy   (02.20.09)
I never heard such a thing so stupid like this. The crossings are closed why? Where do you live? Crossing are closed 'cause kassam rockets, or for you Israel must to reopen crossings whitout nothing in exchange? Stupid ideas here.
10. Hamas attacking Israel again
Brod ,   USA   (02.20.09)
If the UAVs can't find and exterminate the thugs shooting mortars and rockets at Israel, Hamas must be dethroned completely and replaced by the Gazan nation builders who are not connected to Iran or other external dark forces.
11. A miss is as good as a war
Martin ,   JOHANNESBURG   (02.20.09)
Low intensity attacks warrant as much attention as high intensity ones. Respond with full force and ask the Holy One Blessed be He to protect us. We do need to introspect more than to blame. Hamas is asking for heavy treatment We have proved that equivalence not the issue. The actions of Hamas are really seriuios acts of war and until the local population or their brothers reign them in our response must be consistent and forthright. No more appologies. The appologists please eat your humble pie and refrain from entering the big media game being played. Hamas is a satelite. They have been told by their own they brought what they get on themselves and some many Gazans. Those innocent Gazans cought in the cross fire we do not rejoice in your discomfort and misfortune.
12. Mortar barrage
Brad ,   USA   (02.20.09)
Mortar barrage hits Negev. Hundreds of "people"(muslim terrorists), protest the separation fence in Bilin. Are we learning yet? Are we thinking yet?

16. Hamas saying "Thank you"
Christopher ,   Boston, MASS   (02.20.09)
This is simply the way Hamas decided to say "Thank you" to Kerry for giving them the OK to continue engaging in terrorism knowing that the leftist extremists in US politics, typified by the likes of Kerry and Huufington, support them in their attacks on civilians.
17. objectives of Gaza op: deterring, weakening Hamas?
observer   (02.20.09)
op = opposite = more rockets + Hamas becomes stronger than before the war.

i won't equate barraging israel with missiles a sign of strength of a leadership. i would more likely equate it with stupidity and immaturity. no, hamas is not stronger in aza right now. maybe in the eyes of its radical followers, but not in those of the general population which only 30% support it right now. as a palestinian myself, strength of leadership demands that these leaders provide for us, the people who are afraid of them and are suffering from their failed leadership. strength of hamas should be in governing in peace, governing by building better hospitals and infrastructure and governing with the people well being in mind. i live in the old part of jerusalem and am an educated engineering student from haifa university. the arabs in the west bank do not support a hamas government because they are terror producers, not a government operating in peace. they have not made the aza population better. they gave them nothing to be proud of. they did nothing for them except to bring fear terror and poverty to aza. they are criminals just like mashal and haniyeh. these are not leaders. they are like mafia who take take take and never give anything normal back. israil defeated them in this operation and hamas made the aza people suffer a lot because of their stupid irresponsible policies in aza. israil is a reality that we the arabs must accept. enough with the death and terror. let's live nicely together in two countries. but hamas don't want to live like this. hamas want all jews dead and israil will never let hamas be victorious. it is people like you who do not help. hating the jews and wanting to kill israil will never help palestinians to realize a state. never. how many years did we arabs try the same violence and got nothing back. do we have a country? no! so, why are hamas doing things that don't work. isn't it better to put down the gun and missiles and accept your neighbor?
19. #18 obviously u are not arab,
observer   (02.21.09)
because all, except brain washed Israelis, know that Hamas is intermingling in the textile of Gaza's population.
