I can only speak from my point of wiew, but if christians started to read the bible for them selves, they (we) would see that we are obligated to bless Israel and Gods chosen people. With all due respect, why would any Christaian need foregiveness from the Jews. I do not hate the Jews or the Arabs, but the Bible says that God will act on Israels' behalf, not because they deserve it, but so that they will know he is God. Ezekiel 22 talks about the Regathering of the Jews. Ezk 22, 32 says: It is not for your sake I will act, says the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel. I know the Jewish people of the past brought us the scriptures, and for that I am grateful, but many have also denied Christ. While God will act on Israels' behalf, it is not because they are better or more Godly than anyone else, it is so they will know he is God.
