1. kadima
sophia ,   israel   (02.25.09)
kadima shows it is real face which is disability to think about national interests in such a difficult for a country time but they own narrow visions of problems.thanks to Livni's ego it is even more obvious .I hope voters will think more next elections.
2. That's a colourful table
Zion   (02.25.09)
Hope the next gov't redecorates the Knesset.
3. Knesset
Yisraeli   (02.25.09)
I wonder how many of you are aware that the Knesset sits on land that they have to pay annual rent to the Greek Orthodox Church. Such absudity isnt it. With all the millions of properties in europe looted from Jews over the centuries by the church, you would think Israel would nationalise and re-claim its own land in Israel. When will grow a set of kahoonas.
4. Politics as a Mini series,...
Gideon Reader   (02.25.09)
...that is one episode too long. Livni is sulking and clearly shown herself to be more interested in her own political fortunes than that of the country which makes he totally unworthy of further consideration. Let he sit in her so called "opposition". Co-opt Mofaz and one or two other Kadimacrats seeking political survival from the desert wastes and Hoop-la!!, You have a "National Unity government". Labor is inflicting long term injuries to itself like a Los Angeles teen with self esteem problems. Let them sit quietly and maybe they'll get hungry and leave. Look here. There are serious matters abroard and the personal aspirations of players are quite secondary. Enough. Bibi. form your government and let the kvetches kvetch. That's what they will unceasingly do anyway. Facts on the ground towards national security(i.e., silence Gaza), clear boarders, scrapping the foolish Oslo and Two state nonsense coupled with lessened corruption. That is all anyone asks.
5. #3 Yisraeli: Kahoonas are Hawaiian Priests
David H ,   Marietta US   (02.25.09)
Cojones are Mexican baytzim. Both are hard to grow. As for the Knesset land belonging to the Church: GOOD for Israel to pay rent on land they do not own. It is a good, unused argument to the world when Israel is accused of "stealing" Arab land
6. We are Jews and we are dealing about Israel-Land and People
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (02.25.09)
Therefore: Shas' chairman is absolutely correct: "Jewish Law could help solve disputed issues". Just perfect!
7. Yisraeli #3
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (02.25.09)
I didn't know that! WHAT AN ABSURD!!!! It is incredible such an anomaly haven't been corrected yet! As for that one (#5) in Marietta, the one using a STOLEN Jewish name, please: SHUT UP,IDIOT!
8. Sophia #1: Kadima
Steve   (02.25.09)
For those of us who want to see a strong, right-leaning government coalition, we prefer Kadima and Labor pursue its own "narrow visions" for problem-solving. We would like to believe Kadima's and Labor's vision differs from Likud's vision. Livni has made it plain, her vision is for a Muslim (no doubt, terror) state in Gaza, the 'West Bank' and east Jerusalem. Kadima has flirted with giving the Golan to Syria. If Likud does not embrace this vision, all the better! I hope Likud does not embrace Livni's vision. Livni and Barak are banking on the proposition that a right-leaning government coalition will not survive, leading the left once again taking power in Israel. Then they can pursue thier vision once again. If this is the their thinking -- and I have no doubt that it is indeed their thinking -- this has little to do with ego or national interests but ideology. Labor and Kadima are committed to the establishment of a Palestinian state in Israel. I fear Netanyahu is not entirely opposed to this bad idea. Otherwise why is he negotiating with these two parties, Kadima and Labor? Why can't supporters of this false "national coalition" arrangement understand what is driving this?
