1. Mostly, this is about aid money.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (02.26.09)
Both Hamas & Fatah can't wait to get their hot little hands on the aid money from all the suckers in the West. Reconcilliation is about how they split the loot. For the hypocrites who would do just about anything to advance the phoney peace process, this is a way of legitimizing Hamas. Abbas will be a facade so the make-believe can continue. Hamas, of course, will not be asked to modify even one comma in their Charter. If a right-wing gov't. refuses to have anything to do with a Hamas/Fatah gov't., you can be sure it will be branded ''extremist'' by Kadima, by foreign diplomats including Mr Mitchell, & our own left-leaning media. Kadima politicians are actually counting on this to discredit Likud as an ''obstacle to peace'' & will no doubt coordinate their smear campaign with the PA, EU diplomats, & the Obama administration. We will find ourselves with Hamas in control of the entire PA hiding behind Abbas the ''moderate'' & unable to retaliate for the inevitable terrorist attacks.
