The US & Europe didn't want to do anything other than play around for years. They made an offer many months ater Iran refused said we will never compromise. They propose sanctions Iran says we want to talk more so we talk more and go round and round in cicrcles. Neither Russia or China will permit any serious UN sanctions that will do any real damage to Iran. After alot of big talk Bush looses his nerve on air strikes out of fear Iran will make trouble in Iraq. Olmert, Livni & Barak for all their talk about not letting Iran get nukes did nothing. US air strikes could have ended the program for good along with a large part of the conventional Iranian military but did nothing. Israel may have been able to slow things down by a couple of years with the hardware it has which would have at least given more time to the politicians. Obama has not only ruled out air strikes but he also wants to end all sanctions and give the persian monkey an invitation to the White House. Iran has played the world for fools and if they do get nukes they have earned them for playng their part so well and we will have nobody to blame but ourselves for the fact they now have these nukes.
