Talk about a waste of money

This headline - haven't read the article or the TB's - caught my eye since U.S.' generosity is befuddling. They are in dire straits at this time and are going to give $ 300 mil to GAZA !! I can hardly believe this - what will the gazans do with this money - buy more weaponry to use against us ?

If you think it's such a good idea, I'd suggest you donate your entire paycheck to Gaza...assuming you even have a job now that America's economy is in the toilet.

Again and again, billions of dollars are thrown at the Pals only for most of it to disappear. What are the results? Is there a stable Palestinian society? Are they building their infrastructure and economy? Are they using the money to make jobs? Or is all this aid for naught and the Pals simply want to be ruled by strongmen who convince them their lives must be dedicated to war against Israel? After decades of hope and billions of dollars, why are we still in the same state of despair about the Palestinian future? It's time to break this idiotic cycle of giving money for nothing. The billions of taxpayers money from western countries has to have strings attached: there has to be human rights in Palestinian society, there has to be a working and equal justice system, there has to be a school system that teaches peace, not war, and there was to be a PA that shows its people that the 2-state solution is what it wants as well (and that means it's time for the Palestinians to see PA maps showing two countries, with ISRAEL clearly spelled out in Arabic on each map). In the meantime, this is just more money that will go to a few good causes, but also line the pockets of too many corrupt people. End the cycle. Put the strings on the money now.

I'd like to see a demand that requires accountability of use with this aid. Let the aid go to people who need food, clothing, shelter, medical aid, etc. DON'T allow the aid to be used just by the leaders and the well-connected. I'd like an audited trail established to ensure the money goes to people in need. NONE of the money should go to weapons. Perhaps the US can get together with our countries giving aid and develop some system of accountability that can be watched by all donating countries.

Obama and Clinton want to give money to the same people who call for the destruction of not only Israel, but the USA. Since Obama doesn't feel US isn't face terrorist threats since there's no war against terrorists. Why fool around Obama and say what you really mean DONATION FOR AL QUIDA.

If a man legally sells another man a gun, and that man then uses the gun to kill soneone, does that make the man who sold the gun a murderer? If a man's neighbor is firing a gun at his family's house, and that man fires a gun back at his neighbor's house and kills his child, is that self-defense, an accident, or murder? What if the neighbor who fired at the house hides behind his child? Who would be the murderer then?

In fact America throws away $3 Billion per year..... I'll say that again for the slow readers. $3 BILLION PER YEAR. On a rogue state that does nothing in return apart from bite the hand that feeds it, bite the hand of anyone else in the area and bites the hand of just about everyone who may have an interest in trying to find a solution.... and for the really slow learners in the audiense. the name of this state is the one and only 'ISRAEL'. and Israel is the only country that doesnt have to say what they are going to do with the money. $3 Billion per year. Can you imagine what the US could really do with that money for its own country....

Imagine what the US could do with the $900 million instead of pouring it down the Gaza drain. The Palestinians have quite a con game going. They attack Israel with 3000 missiles then get paid to rebuild the shambles they created. Of course, it's unlikely they'll use the money to rebuild Gaza. And even though the Palestinians whine about their losses, they're still shooting at Israel and hoping for more action. And they have little yapping terror supporters like you to cheer them on.

FYI THE U.S.A. DOESN'T HAND ISRAEL MONEY - this money covers items/goods made in the U.S. which Israel purchases. So don't worry yourself too much ! True, though, It's about time the U.S. took care of things neglected at home.
