He should have thought of that before he made the movie. The world doesn't view this as "Israeli morality". He is stupid or naive or both. The world doesn't have to and won't protect Israel. Israel needs to do that. The world won't bail Israel out if it opens the borders and allows Hamas to build Hezbollah-like bunkers with concrete lining and air conditioning. Even though I find nothing anti-Israeli in Waltz with Bashir, the last thing we need is for this leftist w..ker to pride himself on an Oscar, while lecturing to us about how bad we are... An Oscar would have given him too much legitmacy and credit, which he has now proven he does not deserve.

When I saw waltz with bashir, my impression was not that it was anti Israel. On the contrary, I felt that it gave Israelis an exposure as a people who not only feel horrible about the casualties of war, as opposed to our enemies (or temporary allies in this case), but that we want to (and do) prevent needless killing. A human perspective to combat the negative views is a good thing.
