1. It must be the tractor driver
tea man ,   marjayoun   (03.06.09)
2. Jews, don't let the gov't take your weapons away
Marcella   (03.06.09)
In EVERY INSTANCE during the past year or so, it has been armed civilians or off-duty IDF who have subdued and killed terrorists. The Yeshiva children were saved by courageous civilians, while the police merely guarded the building and waited. Fight for your right to bear arms because you are on your own. Today's headlines have your very own PM advocating the surrendering or your capital to the Arabs... And your government will do its utmost to disarm you, so that you can meekly be led away from your homes when the time comes.
3. Keep them out of our neighborhoods!
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.06.09)
The arabs of east Jerusalem should not be allowed to enter Jewish areas. The terrorist's house and that of his family and neighbors should be razed without warning.
4. To #2 Forget about it.
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.06.09)
The min of interior would be happy if no Jews had weapons. The arabs have plenty of handguns and shotguns. I know more arabs with handgun permits than I know Jews with one. Jews are not trusted to own handguns, .22 rifles or hunting rifles. They make it hard to get a license and they have big fees for the license, a signature from your dr and to go to the firing range. I am a security guard and I paid $23 for the dr.'s signature on a form, I have to pay $130 for a one day course, even though the knesset passed a law that the security companies must pay and a $41 fee for the gun license, even though the pistol belongs to the security company. There are plenty of arabs that work in security that never served in the I.D.F. Can the public count on them to stop a terrorist attack? Or there are guards, usually pensioner that work without a weapon.I worked with guards that had no weapon. Or there are guard using handguns that are not the right type or caliber.Or ones that leave their weapons in their auto at work or sitting in a bag in the guard room while they patrol the factory.
5. Thank you, KIND & MERCIFUL Hashem! Awesome, MIGHTY G-D!
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (03.06.09)
6. #4 Jason - I believe you, though it's hard to understand
Marcella   (03.06.09)
The government would much rather see Jews getting killed than to have a single Arab being hurt by Jews. Not long ago there was a riot in Acco, where Jewish lives were in serious danger. Police (Arabs mostly) stood by. When the Jews responded to the attack, they got arrested! Typical. I know not everyone can afford all those fees and the hassle of applying for a license. But I think it's all worthwhile and can save innocent lives. We need to keep in mind that the threat of another intifada comes up every once in a while. Unless things go well for the PA - and they are going very well now with the Israeli, EU and US governments on their side - they can launch another intifada. Considering how incompetent the Israeli gov't has been, it's all up to you, citizens to be ready to protect yourselves. If I were denied the right to own a legal weapon in Israel, believe me, I'd manage to get one on the black market. Probably more than one, and plenty of ammo! It's ridiculous that the JDL exists abroad, but it's not allowed to operate in Israel itself. Or that a Jew can buy a gun with a minimum of hassle in the US but not in a country with such a tense ethnic situation. By the way, the PA keeps receiving legal weapons and training from the Americans. Now there's talk that the PA will have an army. It won't be called an army because that goes against the Oslo accords, but it will be called "special forces". So, as you see, Jewish citizens need to catch up. Whether the government likes it or not.
7. i think
sara ,   jerusalem   (03.07.09)
it is an accident or he was an angry man for a moment without thinking he did it .but he was not a terrorist becouse if he was it is not difficult to get weapon to shot many or to get explosions or to have help from somebody . still iam on my openion that palastinians defend the jews more than the jews themselves but more hurting more suffering of the palastinians more danger to jews you must fear your responds more than arab responds becous you trust the weapons but not the hands carrying it .. but sure weapon in the hand of crazy will injure and the arabs are not crazy yet but in future may be many crazies and weapons can be get from many sources from the idf also
8. Frigging Obama WH STILL hasn't condemned this attack!!
R.H. ,   Israel/US   (03.07.09)
What were American Jews thinking? Why did they fund and vote for the most anti-Israel administration ever? Now we are starting to see Obama and Co.'s radical agenda. Thank God that Bib and Evett have been elected to stand against this new evil on the horizon.
9. When
Serge ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (03.07.09)
When will the terrorist's family say this was an ordinary traffic accident, and that the racist jews killed their son ?
10. someone was watching over us
debbie ,   israel   (03.07.09)
TO SERGE, The family has already said it. They claimed it was an accident, that the kid was just going to work, and got confused when he saw the police. So confused, that he rammed the police car, and picked it up, trying to turn it over. If this was just an accident, he would have tried to back off after he rammed it, not picked it up and turned it over. That takes real talent!!!!!!!
11. someone was watching over us
debbie ,   israel   (03.07.09)
TO SARAH OF JERUSALEM The only thing I could understand out of your garbled, confused talkback was that you wrote The Palestinians protect the Jews more than the Jews protect themselves. Whatever are you talking about? Which Palestinians are protecting Jews, and exactly how are they doing that?
