Dani you can get the report on Google, its there for everyone to see. I dont know how the United Nations personnel gather their data, but I trust that they are professional and have no motive to influence the data one way or the other. Two incidents made the IDF loose credebility in my view. First was the shelling of the United Nations compound in Gaza, which reminded me of the shelling of the United Nations compound in Kana, Lebanon about 12 years ago. In both cases hudreds of civilian sheltering at the compounds were killed, and in both cases Israel claimed that Militants were firing rockets from the compound and in both cases the United Nations strongly denied that hostile refugess

Dani soory, the previous tb was sent before it was done by mistake. Any way I would not condemn Israel if the IDF was no trigger happy. In Lebanon 2006 and in Gaza 2008/9 the overwhelming majority of casualties on the Arab side were civilian according to the U.N and the International Press. Israel lost 13 in the Gaza operation 10 of which were soldiers. Israel lost around 200 soldiers with little less than 40 civilians. This shows that the Arabs were aiming fire at military targets, unlike the the trigger happy IDF. These days I read about Israel attacking

These days I read news about Israel attacking tunnels in Gaza. You dont see me criticizing that because its a legieimite military target. But when civilians are massacred, its there where I draw the line. As far as Iran is concerne, trust me when I say that Israel is playing with fire. If bombing Iran was easy with no consequences, the Europe and the U.S would have been eager for Israel to do it. But they know that it will be too costly to Israel and it will not achieve its goals. The best solution for Israel is to seek a just peace with its neighbors. How can you pretend that you want peace when you have criss crossed the west Bank with settlements. You are giving to the Palestinians nothing but crums. This is not peace.

I am not aware of mistreatment of Jews in Arab countries. I was on a visit to Lebanon last spring and asked about the Jewish community there and was told that there was a thriving Jewish community just before the Lebanese civil war, and that most of the Jews chose to leave in order to escape the war. Many Christians and Muslims did the same. But because the Jewish community there was small, it practiclly does not exist any more. The few that stayed are well respected members of the community. I even visited the Jewish cemetry in Beirut. Also on a trip to Morocco, I asked about the Jewish community there and met a few of its members who seem to be happy living among their Arab and Berber neighbors. I am not anti Jewish but I am anti Zionist. As a matter of fact, the man I admire most and take as a role model is Norman Fenkilstein who is Jewish. If I were an Arab, It would have been a great pleasure for me to have some one like Norman Finkelstein as my neighbor. It would not be an honor for me to live next to Hosni Mubarak or the King of Jordan or the Saudi Royalty for that matter.
35. #1 Marco – Have you read Ahmadinejad’s speech at the UN GA?l
Mladen Andrijasevic ,   Be'er Sheva, Israel   (03.08.09)
It is obvious that you have no idea what Ahmadinejad’s motives are. Here is some basic education.: Full text of President Ahmadinejad's address before United Nations General Assembly http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/library/news/iran/2007/iran-070926-irna01.htm Does Iran have something in store? http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110008768 What will matter will be the final destination of the dead--hell for the infidels, and heaven for the believers. For people with this mindset, MAD is not a constraint; it is an inducement. 36. #17 Marco - At least 700 of those killed in Gaza were gunme
Mladen Andrijasevic ,   Be'er Sheva, Israel   (03.08.09)
http://www.ynet.co.il/english/articles/0,7340,L-3661940,00.html When the casualty list is completed and the identity of all is established, will you write a note to the “United Nations human rights organization” and complain about their “ 95% of the casualties were civilian” nonsense?

Unfortunately most Europeans today believe the Arab propaganda regarding Israel & the fakeastinians. At the end of the day we Jews will defend ourselves and use all options available. Meanwhile poor old europe will be swamped with Muslims and suffer the consequences. They deserve each other.

If I were you I would get ready because Muslims don't just claim Israel. They claim all the lands that once used to be under the Islamic Ummah including Spain. http://israelactnow.blogspot.com/

Dont worry about Muslims claiming Spain. We will deal with it when we get to it. In a civilized manner without resorting to killing children.
41. #40 Marco/Bandar
Cynthia ,   USA   (03.09.09)
An odd game you play on this site. You and Bandar are one and the same poster. Odd how you pretended to be from Spain. Your problem in carrying off this charade is that you forgot what you posted as Bandar and it's identical to what you post as Marco. And I see you could not cite your reference to the UN in relation to Gaza fatalities. That's what happens when a propagandist makes things up. I'm thinking you should not be too comfortable about Iran either. Being so close to Israel, a bomb from Iran could easily land in Lebanon, Gaza, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, etc. Perhaps Iran has simply been using Hezbullah and Hamas and when you are no longer of use, dispose of you. During the War in Lebanon, many Israeli children were maimed, disfigured and murdered by katyusha rockets in a very uncivilized manner. So please save your self-righteous BS.
42. Cynthia #19
Marco ,   Spain   (03.09.09)
Cynthia you can Google 'Gaza casualties of operation cast lead 2008/9' and you will get the information you are looking for. Cynthia I am not anti Jewish, I am anti zionists. I am anti injustice in this world including the injustice commited by Europeans (especially Spain) during the colonial era. The difference between me and you is that I dont try to cover the mistakes commited by my people. You have pushed the Palestians to desperation where whatever they do is JUSTIFIABLE. If my children are starving, and/or in need of medication that you are blocking, I would kill, fire rockets and do whatever it takes to lift injustice and to allow my children to live with dignity. Israel was arrogant in Lebanon and Hezbollah came along. Israel was arrogant in evading peace when Arabs were weak, and Iran came along. You are playing with fire and it will lead to your collapse. Its in your best interest to seek a genuine peace with your neighbors. A peace of equals, not a peace of the master and the slave. Ahmadenajad is the president of Iran and he has the people of Iran to answer to. Unlike Arab leaders, Ahmadenajad is not president for life. Before you criticize other nation's politicians why not begin with your own. A crook for prime minister and a rapist for a president. You should be proud.

I dont respond to people who use deception in their tbs. Its obvious you are not from Bahrain so why dont you be honest with yourself and with others. By the way, I did not even bother to look at the propaganda you sent.

If your statistics were accurate you would have graciously posted them. I don't care if you're anti-Jewish, anti-Israel or anti-pasto. The Palestinians are neither starving or without medicine and they have no excuse for dragging sick patients all the way to Israel for care when they squandered billions that should have been used to build their own medical facilities. Their desperation is self-imposed. The Hamas government refuses to make agreements, let alone peace with Israel. They sustain the conflict under orders from Iran and Hamas leadership that sits comfortably in Syria. Firing rockets is intentional, not necessary and clearly has not resulted in improved conditions for the Palestinians. Civilized people would resolve the conflict at the negotiating table. But solving the conflict is clearly not the intended goal of Hamas. And since Israel was not mistreating Hezbullah, preventing food or medication from entering So. Beirut, you can see terrorizing Israel had nothing to do with peace or improved conditions for the Palestinians. Iran was a country with great potential however, the Iranian Regime destroyed the country and spirit of the people.
