1. Enough
Giora Me'ir ,   USA   (03.18.09)
Enough Barak with your lust for power. Most Labor party voters do not want to join this government.
2. "A blessing on your house"
Sidney ,   USA   (03.18.09)
If Labor joins the Netanyahu government, Shas can be excluded. All Israel would rejoice.
3. as long as the nationalists are not sidelined ok
zionist forever   (03.18.09)
Before the election Barak said if we get fewer than 15 seats we will go into opposition ( they got 13 ) Barak also said both before and after the elections when Netanyahu first approached him said he would not sit in any coalition that included Liberman. Now Barak who has fewer that 15 seats is interested in joining a coalition that also includes Liberman. As long as this coalition doesn't include Yuli Tamir and Netanyahu doesn't drop the religious and nationalist blocks in favour of a Likud, Labour Yisrael Betainu coalition then A weak Labour may benefit because it will give him a larger coalition which can be befeficial against Livni who is going to be condeming Netanyahu if she doesn't like the colour of his suit.
4. Why the hell did we have an election???
Gashem   (03.18.09)
Barak is back in government??? why do I bother???? I just give up with these debilim, I will never even vote again.....
5. Spineless Barak.
Inyaki ,   Bilbao, Basque   (03.18.09)
6. Tamir constitutes the Labor party's death certificate
martin knopfman ,   tel aviv   (03.18.09)
Tamir, along with Peretz and Yacimovich create the impression that the party is an anachronism. Countries such as China and Russian gave up talking about social revolution years back. Whereas Peretz and Yacimovich are simply throwbacks to a bygone age, Tamir actually forced a lot of her shameful and misguided beliefs onto innocent school children, which is inexcusable. Martin
7. #2 - no party does more for its constituents than Shas.
martin knopfman ,   tel aviv   (03.18.09)
What did Kadima, Labor and most of the others do for their constituents? Nothing. Israel Beitenu at least quit the coalition. If I'd voted for Shas I'd be very pleased with what they achieved. Martin
8. Leftist heel draging, sympathy for terrorists not needed.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (03.19.09)
9. Is BIBI being paid off??
Sam Weinstein ,   USA   (03.19.09)
Is BIBI being paid off or something to ignore the people that voted for him.
10. Nice try, no banana Barak
Aviva ,   Tel Aviv   (03.19.09)
"Most citizens and most Labor voters want to see the party as leadership partner." Really? Why is it that I don't know any of them? I'm a Labour voter and if Labour joins this coalition I will definitely become an EX Labour voter. I've got one foot out the door already.
11. No they dont you moron.Barak is just
Eric... ,   Israel....   (03.19.09)
looking for a job.
12. I don't get it.
Ellen ,   USA/Israel   (03.19.09)
Bibi has a mandate. He has the seats for a right wing government. Why is he doing this? First Kadima, now Labor. It seems as if Bibi is scared of being right. Is he going to follow Olmert's path and lead the country to a left wing, defeatest path? He is sure trying to form a government that would support him in that type of action. Its no wonder that Israelis loose interest in vote. Their vote is a joke!
13. Disappointed
Miki ,   Bucharest, Romania   (03.19.09)
You'd better go home and have some rest, Barak! Mind your business and let Bibi fail.
