Once upon a time, Iran used to be a democratic state. Then, one day the Iranian people decided to vote for a socialist - but being the hypocrites that they are - the US did not accept this result and overthrew the President along with the well-establish Iranian democratic system to replace it with a Dictatorial Kingdom headed by the Shah - a racist bigot. The Islamic Revolution came about - like all revolutions, by the people (not a coupe) - the US cut ties with Iran straight away, not vice-versa. So, Obama. Go back to mutual respect: is that supposed to mean the Iranians have to go back under US rogue rule? Is that when they display their full humanism and civilisation? The US is oppressing more people through it's direct involvement with foreign government's - many of whom are dictatorships. Fix that, then talk about others.

I would say that the US has few options with regard to Iran.... The regime there is going for "Shahadah" matyerdom option - They are indifferent to the US having good relation with them, though sometimes it becomes risky for them. Anyway, analysts say that the US for the next few years is going to be in an isolation phase, as to tidy up the mess in the "inner house". So they need a calm Iran for that matter to be able to concentrate on their homework. Things are so fu#ked up over there. As for Iran, they should lighten up ...
