Prior to the Oslo process and the failed notion that if only gives land to terrorists it will buy peace, Israeli Arabs were calm, quiet, and content with living in the only middle east democracy, albeit a Jewish one. Today, they protest when Jews engage in self defense against rocket fire, spy for enemy organizations like Hezbollah, and their Knesset representatives routinly call for the end of Israel as a democratic Jewish state. All of this goes to show that Lieberman is right in demanding loyalty to the state. If these Arabs do not enjoy living in the freest and wealthiest society in the middle east, then they should pack up and head elsewhere.

to any one of the countries that share the same sinister ideology of them, imediately. Israel must find a more effective way of dealing with this disaster it has inside. Those who perpetrate this kind of things in Israel must sense that it is not going to be worth. Death penalty, maybe?
5. The 'Galilee Freedom Battalions' is actually THE PLO
ben ,   singapore   (03.22.09)
Their Political Program Adopted at the 12th Session of the Palestine National Council Cairo, 8 June 1974 The Palestine National Council, On the basis of the Palestine National Charter and the Political Program drawn up at the eleventh session, held from 6-12 January 1997; and from its belief that it is impossible for a permanent and just peace to be established in the area unless our Palestinian people recover from all their national rights and, first and foremost, their rights to return and to self-determination on the whole of the soil of their homeland; and in the light of a study of the new political circumstances that have come into existence in the period between the Council’s last and present sessions, resolves the following: 1. To reaffirm the Palestine Liberation Organization’s previous attitude to Resolution 242, which obliterates the national right of our people and deals with the cause of our people as a problem of refugees. The Council therefore refuses to have anything to do with this resolution at any level, Arab or international, including the Geneva Conference. 2. The Palestine Liberation Organization will employ all means, and first and foremost armed struggle, to liberate Palestinian territory and to establish the independent combatant national authority for the people over every part of Palestinian territory that is liberated. This will require further changes being effected in the balance of power in favor of our people and their struggle. 3. The Liberation Organization will struggle against any proposal for a Palestinian entity the price of which is recognition, peace, secure frontiers, renunciation of national rights, and the deprival of our people of their right to return and their right to self-determination on the soil of their homeland. 4. Any step taken towards liberation is a step towards the realization of the Liberation Organization’s strategy of establishing the democratic Palestinian State specified in the resolutions of the previous Palestinian National Councils. 5. Struggle along with the Jordanian national forces to establish a Jordanian-Palestinian national front whose aim will be to set up in Jordan a democratic national authority in close contact with the Palestinian entity that is established through the struggle. 6. The Liberation Organization will struggle to establish unity in struggle between the two peoples and between all the forces of the Arab liberation movement that are in agreement on this program. 7. In the light of this program, the Liberation Organization will struggle to strengthen national unity and to raise it to the level where it will be able to perform its national duties and tasks. 8. Once it is established, the Palestinian national authority will strive to achieve a union of the confrontation countries, with the aim of completing the liberation of all Palestinian territory, and as a step along the road to comprehensive Arab unity. 9. The Liberation Organization will strive to strengthen its solidarity with the socialist countries, and with the forces of liberation and progress throughout the world, with the aim of frustrating all the schemes of Zionism, reaction and imperialism. 10. In light of this program, the leadership of the revolution will determine the tactics which will serve and make possible the realization of thee objectives. The Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization will make every effort to implement this program, and should a situation arise affecting the destiny and the future of the Palestinian people, the National Assembly will be convened in extraordinary session.
6. The History
ben ,   singapore   (03.22.09)
In 1974, the PLO established the “phased plan” to destroy Israel. Even then, the goal was not an independent Palestinian state, but to destroy Israel in stages - to grab whatever territory it can by any means, using it as a platform to grab more - with an independent Palestinian Arab state just a temporary step on the way towards a pan-Arab state: 2. 8. Once it is established, the Palestinian national authority will strive to achieve a union of the confrontation countries, with the aim of completing the liberation of all Palestinian territory, and as a step along the road to comprehensive Arab unity. And immediately after Arafat signed the Oslo Accords in 1993, he told a radio station that the accords …will be a basis for an independent Palestinian state in accordance with the Palestine National Council resolution issued in 1974… The PNC resolution issued in 1974 calls for the establishment of a national authority on any part of Palestinian soil from which Israel withdraws or which is liberated. Arafat habitually referred to the 1974 plan during Oslo. This is the basis for the “good cop, bad cop” routine we are seeing between Abbas and Hamas - one trying to grab territory by ostensibly peaceful means, one by war, both with the same ultimate goal that was codified in Cairo in 1974. Seen in this context, it makes perfect sense that while the PLO now has all Western countries pressuring Israel to withdraw to the Green Line, that the next stage start to be prepared now. Which brings us back to the “Galilee Freedom Batallions.” Since the Galilee has a large Arab population, it is the logical place to start the next stage of the Phased Plan. They will start agitating for the Galilee to be a part of Arab Palestine, using terror and incitement of Galilee Arabs. It sounds absurd now but after a decade or so of terror attacks together with left-wing Israelis who are scared to death of a perceived “demographic” threat it will seem much more reasonable in years to come.

Dav Lev ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (03.22.09)
Reconstruct all the dismantled checkpoints immediately, and tell the EU where it can go if it disagrees. Stop all discussions with Hamas over Shalit, but warn them seriously about harming him. Take away all prisoner priviledges (including Red Cross visits) unless Shalit is granted same. Try Barghouti again for war crimes..bring in capital punishment. Void any future "deals" to release convicted Arab terrorists. Finish the fence. Tell the World Court where to stick it. Stop all discussions with Syria. Tell Iran through Turkey that Tehran is in Israel's gun sights..should they continue enriching uranium. Let Hezbollah know that if one rocket is fired into Israel, South Lebanon will become a sheet of glass. That's how you deal with murderers and thugs. Wake up Israel. They want you destroyed. What happened if this bomb went off...think about it.
10. The achievement of the PLO and terrorism.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (03.22.09)
A survey carried out the Panels Research Institute finds that more than 75% of Israelis see partial or total transfer of Israeli-Arabs out of Israel in any final-status agreement that includes a Palestinian state. The poll asked whether it would be justified, in the framework of an agreement for the establishment of a Palestinian state, to demand the transfer out of Israel of all Arabs. Nearly 30% said yes with no reservations, while 28% said only Arabs who did not express loyalty to Israel should be expelled. In addition, another 19% said that Arabs who lived in areas bordering the PA-controlled areas, such as Wadi Area and the southern Galilee, should be transferred out.The remainder, just under 25%, said no Arabs should be transferred out.The survey encompassed 668 respondents, taking part in a series of Panel4All internet surveys. The Panels Institute says the respondents are a representative sampling of the adult population in Israel, and that the margin of error is 3.7%. The solution ? Details at : http://xrl.us/bjcgx

14. Where are all the "bleeding heart" terror supporters?
Shai Razieli ,   Toronto, Canada   (03.22.09)
This barbarian terrorists will never stop their shady vicious murderous aim to kill as many Israelis they can, just because they are peace loving Jewish people in a free flourishing democratic state – The only sound democracy in The Middle-East. A great miracle, thank God - no one of the hundreds of people, women and children hurt. But these terrorist animals will continue their plans and efforts to kill. Where are all the "bleeding heart" terror supporters? Why are they not protesting now in the streets? Why they go out to demonstrate only when there is hate against Israel.

Time for Israel to stop caring for a second what the world says and play hardball like its adversaries ask for. Acceptance from some countries is great, but the harm is not in them being pissed with us on a diplomatic level, the harm is the countries who'd actually bomb us or pass on bombs to our lovely dear friends in the West Bank and Gaza.
17. Are we Europeans are lie to ourselves?
uli ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.22.09)
Let's call the things as they are: ARAB ISRAELI TERRORISM. What are this tries of the Israeli medie again and again to hint that there is not such an organization that again and again claims responsible for Terror attacks that only Israeli Arabs could have done. Have we become Europeans, who are afraid to see the truth face to face? Let's be honest and say to the Israeli people: Yes, there are Israeli Arab terrorists within us, and they get more and more murderous and we have to deal with them. Be honest, be brave!

Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (03.22.09)
... and quite telling, actually, is the complete absence on this thread of our virulent anti-Semites. Had the bomb not been discovered; had it exploded, killing many Jews, you know they'd all be on here, trumpeting loudly about how "nationalists" (their word for "terrorists") are asserting themselves, blah, blah, blah. Their silence is deafening. They are not interested in geopolitical issues, they just want to see a bunch of dead Jews. Got thwarted this time, so what's the point? How scurrilous is that? How typical, too?

Admit you are in a losing war. Even in your "own country" [Palestine-Israel] you shall not be safe. You are living in hell. And I am no Muslim nor Palestinian. But I understand them.
