31. #12 - Brilliant idea!!
William ,   Israel   (03.23.09)
Do this on a weekly basis. Drive a few hundred prisoners out to the Gaza border, with hoods over the heads, and with loudspeakers and leaflets on Gaza - announce who they are and that they are there. Make the ultimatum of delivering Shalit, unharmed, within 45 minutes for a return. If not, put them all back into the trucks and take them away, in front of the eyes of their relatives. Do this until protests by relatives break out everywhere. Only by making this issue a real emotional situation for Gazans will they buckle.
32. Hahaah #10 - Then most countries are terrorists, duh!
William ,   Israel   (03.23.09)
The likes that the EU, US, and most countries treat their terrorist prisoners is nothing compared to Israel which allows red cross visits, relatives visits, and even learning an education on Israeli taxpayer backs. I would say, you're more of a terrorist than Israel could ever be. While you cry foul on Israel from the marble halls of the EU, you honestly consider Turkey for EU membership, and we all know the stories of Turkish jails. Actually, all the rights Israel gives to terrorists are above and beyond those necessary. Short of slitting their throats in cold-blood, Israel is legally allowed to hold these dangerous prisoners anywhere and in any way they deem fit. Don't want to be a prisoner in Israel? Don't infiltrate, don't attack. Nee-koo-dah!
33. #16 - What is sick is Hamas expecting prisoners released...
William ,   Israel   (03.23.09)
after these very men they demand released have killed so many civilians inside Israel, with actual blood on their hands...which Gilad does not have. What's more sick is that Hamas officials continue to walk around freely after putting so many Gazan civilians in the path of war, using them cynically to cover their own asses, and lying about the number of their own dead when independent reports have already shown less than 30% as civilians. For shame on them, and for shame on you for being an enabler.
34. #14 - Hey Gazan, how about these statistics for ya.
William ,   Israel   (03.23.09)
Palestinian terror attacks: 97% civilian targets, 3% military IDF responses: 87% military, 13% civilian. Definitely not fair. Then again, it explains why so many Pals are in Israeli jails. They broke local, international, and human rights laws.
35. #18 - Rawhi - New Pal calculation on age
William ,   Israel   (03.23.09)
Their terrorists under the age of 15 are considered kids, under the age of 17 is considered "infants". Here's a calculation for you - how many of these women and "children" carried out a violent attack? My guess is 100%. Break the law, go to jail! Very simple, even for Muslims. How about this - you go to school and build a career, and you get to have a free, prosperous life. Or be a criminal and go to jail. It really is your choice. By the way - infants? Hahahaha, love Pallywood.
36. Can Arabs, Muslims and/or supporters please
Shaul   (03.23.09)
explain what is the purpose and intended goal of this display? Is it to gloat? To vent rage? A form of a sadistic reminder for Shalit's parents? Something new for Galloway to kiss? Is it because a display of the real Shalit may provoke pooh-poohing from their "western" supporters, or an attempt at rescue by the IDF? This behavior seems truly bizarre to me and, I would think, anyone raised within a humanist tradition. Please enlighten me. Your comments would be greatly appreciated.
37. What do you expect from them?
Chaim Yankel ,   Baltimore   (03.23.09)
I predicted that we would go into gaza again. I am also against this 2-state nonsense. Especially now. I say NO to giving land away. I prefer Moshiach. No reason to give anything away. Let THEM give up land!!! Not us.
38. They're animals. Worse than animals.
Avraham ,   NYC   (03.23.09)
39. THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST WHEN...
Aaron ,   SF, USA   (03.23.09)
...ARAB MOTHERS LOVE THEIR SONS MORE THAN THEY HATE ISRAEL. Too bad these mothers decided to send their kids into Israel with bombs and terrorist schemes.
40. Savage is as savage does.
Palestiniansareamyth ,   USA   (03.23.09)
When is Israel going to realize that you can't negotiate with uncivilized backward inbred lunatics.
41. these Jews
Ahmed   (03.23.09)
they want their soldier back, yet refuse to agree to condition. Ask any Jew most wont agree to his release.
42. A redline agreement crossed by Hamas
JO   (03.23.09)
"The conditions for an agreement have been known for three years, and the Egyptians know them, too," Mashaal told the Italian newspaper. "They are the release of 1,000 Palestinians in two stages." This is a lie. The conditions have changed. The first deal approached was very different than this recent one. Hamas changed it. Israel has never had any demand but one-Gilad. The prisioner list changed because Hamas changed it.
43. Balanced proportions…
Ariel ,   Israel   (03.23.09)
The Palestinians cry out to the world pleading and demanding that the Israeli Generals pay the price for “war crimes” and disproportionate response in “Cast Lead Op.” because on their side over 1000 people were killed as to on the Israeli side only 8. I wonder, was this really disproportional? I mean, a life is a life, no?? The Palestinians have placed their own price tag! They have shown the world that one Israeli soldier is worth 1000 Palestinian killers! 1000 Palestinians in order to free one Israeli soldier… this is not the price tag we placed on what a Palestinian is worth… this is the price tag they place on themselves… there is no one to blame here but them! I say that cast lead was a terrible tragedy, and might also be judged as a frailer, but “disproportionate” it was not… in order for us to have killed a balanced number of Palestinians we would have had to kill 8000 no?? Isn’t it them that decided how many Palestinian killers is worth one Israeli soldier??? Some day, I hope, the Palestinian people will learn to honor, care and love themselves as we love Guilad Shalit. Some day maybe they would be willing to “render” disproportional negotiations in order to release one simple person, whose only crime was his national duty. When this day comes… There will be peace in the Middle East… Till then… we must continue to defend ourselves!
44. PRISONERS !.
Orao Stranka. ,   Tsarigrad u Srbia.   (03.23.09)
THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR MURDER AND TERRORISM. IF, THE DILEMMA OF FREEING PRISONERS WOULD NOT OFFEND TO MUCH. BUT ANYHOW , THIS GOVERNMENT HAVE NO VISION, AND ARE THEREFORE IMPOTENT IN SOLVING ANY PROBLEM. Orao.
45. See how beautifully some of them can write Hebrew?
Food for thought   (03.23.09)
Look at the excellent Hebrew on those signs and now tell me that Hamas dupe Amira Hass can prove that IDF soldiers wrote "death to arabs on the walls". Maybe they did it to make Israel look bad like they did with the candle light "cabinet" meeting and all other palywood productions?
46. to #41
ghostq   (03.23.09)
thos r no soldiers, they send suicide bombing and deliberately killed civilians, they r terrorists, you know like in us terms they should be on the death sentence.
47. to y net please erase my talkbalk
ghostq   (03.23.09)
that's what happen when you do many things in the same time
48. aywa ya hamas. hayth bidi yakum. lol@6 btw
jerusalem   (03.23.09)
innocent went down the drain when the knowedge of him being a soldier came up, and further went into the sewers when knowledge of the soldier being on duty was publicized. I have said this time and time again, he is a POW; further, if the family wasnt ready for any mess-ups like captivity, then they should have probably made him avoid joining the IDF, which happens to be (controversial) in war with the palestinians. a hefty number of the palis in israeli jails havent underwent trial, kinda like some of the detainees of gitmo. some of them pali prisoners have been kidnapped (by various means-shin beit, shabbak, etc) and thrown into prison. If you havent seen the article on ynet last week, it mentions the 20 detained so called prisoners in israeli hands. while the majority of the prisoners' sentences and crimes have been mentioned, there still remained some with the terms "lengthy sentence" and for the crime blank, is "terrorist activities", whatever the heck that means. If you think that shalit is innocent, then good luck to you, those "idiots" you try to defame on the otherhand obviously think otherwise. and they still have your "innocent hostage" btw an "innocent hostage" would most likely be a civillian taken hostage out of the blue on a sunny day for criminal reasons, which shalit falls most certainly short of. i like the kidnapping of soldiers idea (of them). it kinda cleans their infamous image of targeting civillians in their resistance. if they have to kill someone, the soldiers are the lesser of two evils. on the other hand, israel, tides are turning eh?
49. certainly 36
jerusalem   (03.23.09)
no need for anyone "poo-pooing". it means: "you (israelis) have a captive in palestinian hands, so do we. you want your captive back and we want out captives back. you may think that he (shalit) has no reason to be in this present condition (eventhough hes a soldier in a POW condition) then neither do ours (which have also been kidnapped in some cases, that on the contrary werent soldiers, some not even men or fully grown people). While some of us (thank God) have been raised in humanistic like conditions (not tradition), unfortunately the palestinians havent got the same humanist-like nurturing from their neighbors(israel & britain) that the rest of us have had. since you have an israeli name, ill give you an example (hypothetically): was hitler in any way a person of humanity to the jews, soviets, gypsies, etc. (muslims and everyone would have been next if he would have kept on going)
50. #48... What are you talking about???
Ariel ,   Israel   (03.23.09)
Are you seriously comparing Guilad Shalit with do you really see him as the same of one of the 430 terrorists with blood on their hands held in Israeli prisons with visitation rights, free academic education, 3 proper meals a day and a ping pong table?? are you for real??
51. just let him stay with Hamas
Ahmed   (03.23.09)
jews kill 300 children
52. Gaza's beauties.
petra ,   uSA   (03.23.09)
gives me the shudders. Damn, these 'females' look like they've been hit w/ an ugly stick. hmm, I'll bet thats' what the veils are for. UUUGGGGH. p.s. the pal prisoners say they'd rather be jailed that return to a city of wall to wall ugly.
53. its pretty clear #50, yeah Im for real.
jerusalem   (03.24.09)
I mean what the heck is shalit doing anyway so close to the barbarous palis anyway? If you have a problem with how the government spends our tax shekels towards the prisoners, which I fully agree, then take the case to them since its their policy. just because one side appears to treat its prisoners in a more looser fashion than the other, doesnt mean that the other side has to copy off of them. (hint to the people encouraging worsening prisoner conditions in IL; would look, or appear to look (for the parents' sake) pretty desperate.)
