As in all conflicts there will always be allegations of abusive behaviour committed against innocent civilains. In this recent conflict between Israel and Hamas 1,400 Palestinians died 960 of them civilians and 13 Israelis. A disproportionate number of civilian deaths. Allegations made by a number of soldiers from the Golani Infantry Bde have recently been made public both in Israel and internationally. In one instance it has been alledged by an IDF soldier that a Palestinian woman and her child were killed by an IDF sniper. If Israel and the IDF are ever to gain the moral high ground in this conflict these allegations must be acknowledged and investigated. Otherwise, if left unchecked the IDF risks being torn apart from within.

the issue here isnt whether or not jews commit bad acts because there are definately those that do. The issue here is the double standard that comes to the reporting of israeli conflicts vs. arab conflicts. If a jew targets a civilian (intentionally or not) he is a villian, but if an arab targets a civilian he is either a hero or a victim that was "forced" to do so because of the "occupation" There is no questions in my mind that there were some unfortanate circumstances resulting from this operation in Gaza but to be so one sided against Jews in this regard is what creates this feeling of anti-semitism amongst jews. Let's be real here, as a country Israel is one of the freeist and most moral entities not only in the middle east but in the world. How would using a human shield help the IDF when we all know that Hamas itself uses its own people as human shields? The supposed human shield would have no deferance value. But good tactic for Hamas: Make a claim that is not true. By the time it's proven to be false, everyone has already formed their impression and it doesn't matter that it was a lie.

If they would have allowed them in during operation last dead you would have all kinds of proof on video as well.The IDF did not allow them in because they knew exactly what they were going to do and it was all planned. P.S even if caught on video they would DENY IT!!!!!

The UN doesn't care if the Palestinians shot 3000 missiles at Israel or killed Israeli children. I doubt they even listen to the issues. The UN should disband. They are hopeless unprofessional misfits who, when 300,000 Iraqi Kurds, men, women and children were being gassed to death and left dead on the streets by Saddam Hussein’s brutal regime, they were no-where in sight - they kept quiet and did nothing to help. It seems they approve of Arabs killing Arabs but Israelis are not allowed to do so, even if Israel has been under constant rocket attack for years and years……………for no reason. We shouldn’t let these useless Plebs into our country – they are biased, hate Jews and will do anything to keep us pinned to the firing squad. When they start paying attention to brutal murders, rapes and other horrors that take place daily in other countries – and bring it to the forefront with as much zest as the Israeli issues, then maybe their word would actually mean something. Until then, they just need to shut up, pack up and go stand in line for welfare.
