1. And at what price ?
Avi ,   Rannana   (03.24.09)
Would have been helpfull if the article had included the price of the 500 grm carton compared to the regular size. How do we know this is good value for money?
2. I love Yoplait!!!

3. family size
freda ,   israel   (03.24.09)
Yes! please make family sized everything...cottage cheese, yogurt, leben and everything else. I'm tired of buying 8 or 10 little containers, which can't be recycled. At least the large containers can be used to store food in the fridge after initial use. And maybe more economical too?!?!
4. I smell a rat
Naftush   (03.24.09)
or at least the rancid unsold yogurt that must be piling up in Tnuva's warehouses. Israeli consumers have finally had it with the tacit shakedown of those itsy-bitsy NIS 4.50 cuplets of yogurt.
5. Will make things difficult for the elderly...

...who prefer smaller packages to match their smaller income.
6. In Canada,
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (03.24.09)
we could even buy one litre containers of multi fruit yogourt. I especially liked the Liberty brand. I do like Yoplait but I find here in Ashdod that Yoplait is about the only brand available. O'Boy, do I love yogourt!
7. finally!
rachel ,   israel   (03.24.09)
I have been waiting for this! Back in Europe I always bought the big size containers- they were also cheaper compared to the small ones. To #5- I don't think that the small ones will disapear!
8. Liberty Brand in Montreal is watered down nothing
Al   (03.24.09)
Stick with Astro from Toronto. Its a full yogurt made the old fashioned way and its 10 times better than Liberty. 500Gr Give me a break..Yogurt should be sold in 750-1 littre packages. isreali food companies are soaking the public. In Canada they wouldnt stand a chance. They'd be laughed out of the market.
9. Finally, an out and out non-political fight,
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (03.24.09)
first of its kind for me here in Israel, on my second favourite topic -- yogourt. Al (#8), I know how healthy Astro is for you but its taste does not suit me whereas Liberty's does. "Watered down"? I don't think so. Sold in healthfood stores in Edmonton (Planet Organic). I'm in Israel. Can't check. But I know in the U.S. there are many more varieties. Best may be to make one's own yogourt, add fruit and honey or some other sweetener to taste. Boy, I love yogourt.
10. Bob I'm a kosher eater so the only ones I got
Al   (03.24.09)
are either Liberty or Astro. Here in Montreal because of limiting French language laws the choices are limited. In spite of it all we do get some Israeli food products that I can best describe of being a very poor quality. I am being polite. I try to stick to national name brands,, Presidents Choice from Lablaws is Grade A as well as kosher in many instances. I understand your harking for all things canadian, but heres a consolation. 35 Years back when I tried to live in Israel, the food choices were horrific. I guess they've come a long way, but the truth is Canada produces some of finest foods in the world. And please dont forget our kick ass beer..6.4% alc sure does it for me.
11. yoplait
das ,   israel   (03.25.09)

12. To #10
Alex ,   San Diego, CA   (03.25.09)
The israeli dairy is one of the BEST IN THE WORLD!!! I don't know about Canada, but in the U.S. the dairy products taste like sh*t, unless you buy organic. I really miss gvina levana 5% or shoko besakit :(
13. No. 12 Alex
NYC Girl   (03.25.09)
Living in California I would have thought you'd have a wide variety of dairy products to choose from as we do in New York and that not all of them would taste so bad. However, if you're talking specifically about yogurt, you might want to try Greek yogurt which may even be available in your supermarket.
14. I tried to buy it today
Chaya ,   bat Yam   (03.25.09)
But the price hadn't been put on them yet! She even went to scan it at the register; but no price came up!! Oh, well. I'll try again tomorrow.
15. dont know about YYY but its the dumbest commercial ever
Ruben ,   Tel Aviv   (03.25.09)
Once Muller made its way to Israel, I never looked back... its far better.
