1. Livni why dont you read the hate in the Egyptian media
Ken Jurist   (03.26.09)
Read this great article which talks about fools like Livni. http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/Read.aspx?GUID=3B471F2D-569D-47FE-A4C3-E098D1077150 Arab Belligerence, Israeli Self-Abasement By Kenneth Levin 1/15/08
2. What Peace
Avi ,   Rannana   (03.26.09)
Peace? More like a piece of paper. Yes one can hardly move in Tel Aviv with all the Egyptians and lets face it no Israeli in their right mind would go to Cairo for a vacation. Which is a shame as Egyptian culture is so rich and has so much to offer.
3. Peace will be end with lieberman
Egyptian   (03.26.09)
lieberman isulted Mubarak and said that he will bomb the Aswan dam
4. Look everyone! Its duck season.
Ypip ,   Canada   (03.26.09)
5. livni's peace
marcel   (03.26.09)
All israelis want peace. Olmert offered almost every concession imaginable, more than any other leader and livni followed suit. What did israel get?--missiles, kassems, mortars, tractor kills. Another way is to show strength, take out some leaders, employ phalanx gun, launch israeli terror rockets in response to gaza rockets to create a balance of terror. What did livni get? A lousy resolution concerning lebanon, dead idf soldiers, a gutless foreign minister demanding olmert resign twice and then sitting there taking orders from him when he refused. This is peace?? No, this is surrender. I'v e worked with lawyers. In olmert and livni, you have 2 of the most gutless idiots around, though livni is not as bad as olmert. You think you can trust arabs. What games are you playing with israel lives???
6. In history it was the worst peace treaty,
e.m.Jordan is Palest ,   s.f   (03.26.09)
What did Israel get back by that peace treaty with Egyptian Government? Peace must be two sides way and between two nations too, no doubt Egypt has peace with Israeli government and Israeli people too but dose Israel government has peace with Egyptian government and Egyptian people? What will happen after Mobarak regime who will guarantee that? How many time since that peace treaty the Egyptian President have visit State of Israel and what did happen that have stop the Israel to travel to Egypt any more, in the end Israel have give back the Sinai peninsula for nothing.
7. Egypt has been relentlessly building up its armed forces.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (03.26.09)
Apart from Iran, Israel also faces threats particularly from the Arab states Syria and Egypt–both because of the direct and indirect aid they supply to the terror organizations surrounding Israel, and because of their own hostility and military build-ups. Egypt has been relentlessly building up its armed forces and absorbing state-of-the-art American weaponry since the 1979 Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty. Syria is militarily weaker but its ballistic-missile threat to Israel (along with Egypt’s) is very serious. For a global explaination of the Middle-East reality : http://xrl.us/biz8x
8. to #3 don't worry
ghostq   (03.26.09)
nobody is going to bomb that damn dam, he likes to make provocations that's all.
9. Arab peace Initiative...
judy ,   jerusalem   (03.26.09)
And speaking of "peace" initiatives, Josh Teitelbaum has a thing or two to say about the Arab (Saudi) peace initiatve at http://www.jcpa.org/text/Arab-Peace-Initiative.pdf
10. Israel: save tax payer money and give up your fantaisy
Moshe   (03.26.09)
11. Ms. Livni and Peace
Judith Nusbaum ,   Rishon Letzion   (03.26.09)
Ms. Livni should get a grip on reality and stop damming the new Likud led government. We all want peace, but sometimes it is impossible to obtain, especially when the other side wants our destruction, not peace with us. Ms. Livni should be supportive of the new government and do what is best for Israel and its citizens. If not now, when?
12. Peace
John Jones ,   Sydney, Australia   (03.26.09)
The only way the Israeli people will ever have peace is when Israel gives back all land it illegally holds (west bank, sheeba farms, golan heights). Until then, no country in the world is going to believe Israel is serious about peace. If Israel does this then it will have support from the international community if it is still threatened by its neighbours.
13. Re-What Peace
Wal ,   Cairo   (03.26.09)
Avi, While i was reading your words, i do not knwo how can i say that, I was smilling, let us keep it at the stage of smilling, Cause all egyptian are feel just as you, that Israeli come and go to Egypt Go to Cairo, Alexandria, Taba In taba you will find a few egyptians and the rest of Taba are israeli Citez. on the other hand non of the egyptian think in coming to israel, I know that there are some Egyptian working and living there but they are less than 0.0005% of the egyptians So here we also say what peace if they can come and go and no egyptian will ever think to go to israel! ?????
