Here is the whole of verse 104, surah 17: "And We said unto the Children of Israel after him: Dwell in the land; but when the promise of the Hereafter cometh to pass We shall bring you as a crowd gathered out of various nations. " "وَقُلۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ لِبَنِىٓ إِسۡرَٲٓءِيلَ ٱسۡكُنُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعۡدُ ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ جِئۡنَا بِكُمۡ لَفِيفً۬ا" Pharaoh is mentioned in only one of the verses - 100 - in that surah. End of surah 5, verse 12 - which you forgot to quote...: " But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly." and in the verse 22, surah 5 - the one after you quote: "Then out spake two of those who feared (their Lord, men) unto whom Allah had been gracious: Enter in upon them by the gate, for if ye enter by it, lo! ye will be victorious.
