As mentioned below, the only arab countries who have genuinely been interested in a peace deal are Jordan and Egypt. Both of which now enjoy that peace. Assad isn't interested in compromise (which is what negotiation is) and Abbas is only interested in keeping this state of conflict in perpetual motion because it gives him the ability to oppress his people whilst diverting their attention to "the Enemy". As for Hamas, their peace plan with Israel is to eradicate Israel! It is Israel who cannot find a partner for peace.

Did you ever hear of Hatay or Alexandretta in Turkey. The Syrians for years kept saying Hatay was theres Turkey told Syria Hatay belongs to them and will never be part of Syria. It is obviously that every Assad talk about peace with Israel are empty words. How can Israel give back land to a country who has working for years against Israel security? Giving Golan to Siria will not make Assad your friend for sure. Peace is a long process of mutual confidence. And Israel withdrawal from Golan, if necessary, need to happen only in the last stage and after years of Siria showing peaceful intentions.
