Many left wingers posting here are simply spineless and thick skinned. You need a "peace partner" to make peace with, not someone whose charter declares your destruction. Giving away "anything" in the hope you might appease your enemies has been proven wrong. Both sides have to show a desire for peace in deeds. If the palestinians want their own state let them act like statesmen before Israel compromises. "It takes two to tango" the old saying goes.

That's EXACTLY the point! I,as my suggestion,would say for Israel to start presenting to the world the sanest option which is transfer. Instead of world powers wasting so much money in a dead matter,they should start investing in LIFE and start buying lands to palis and arbs who seem not happy among us,for them to go and live in peace among their own. The world is too big,and I am sure that the average arab and pali population would love such solution. The problem to be fought is this arab islamic mentality of maintening palis as pawns in order to keep on ,steadily,in their goal to rid Israel off the map and putting the whole world against us with that "card"they keep under their sleves. It is Ishmael envious mentality that must be dealt with.It is that the ROOT of the problem that must be dealt with and resolved.

We made agreements and kept our obligations. The Arabs have never kept any of theirs. No new agreements, fulfill the obligations that they already made before anything new.

Lieberman is spot on. And who cares about foreign funding. It hardly accounts for much of Israel's actual wealth.

Lieberman is right on target. He is a sharpshooter who knows the situation very well. This is one leader that the dark forces-Islamist-Jihadists and AntiSemites cannot fool and manipulate. The fact is the Land of Israel is GOD-given and GOD-restored to the Jews. No mortals should dare tamper with GOD's Restoration of Modern Israel in their Ancient Land of Israel. It is a fulfillment of GOD's Covenant to Israel! Jeremiah 31:1-17, Ezekiel 36:24-38, Ezekiel 37:21-28, Ezekiel 39:27-29, Amos 9:14-15.

There will be no peace. Don't you understand Islam will never allow a sovereign Jewish state to live in peace in the region? Do you know anything about Muhammad, the Qur'an or Islam? Anything at all?

I am glad to read this article. This is the way to peace. This is the way to the reclamation of Israel. This is the way to gain respect in the eyes of Palestinians and the world. Stand up for what is ours and don't beg from a position of weak knee apology. Mistakes of the past has put Israel in the position it is in today and only strength, determination, and trust in G-d will succeed.

Thank god we finally have a government that cares less about our international image and more about protecting the integrity of our country. Lieberman is exactly right--concessions bring war.
