3. Someone ought 2 remind these nice people that...
(04.06.09)
Jews chose life! They had nothing better to do with their 24 million dollars? They couldn't think of one worthy cause to assist Jews either in Israel or France? Let's remember that a fund with 24 million dollars as its principal gives a very good interest for a very long time and that these VIPs could have really earned a lot more "Zuhus b'Olem Hababah" with this kind of money!

can of worms, oh yeah worms and dead people.
5. he who dies with the most toys wins?
make more money ,   to leave for others?   (04.06.09)
my parents did this also but i could never make any sense out of this logic of trying to make a huge profit before you die. they thought something was wrong with me but their genes got passed through to my son and he's just like them. so much so that just before they died he sweet talked them into changing the will from me to him. now i don't need their money have plenty of my own but we haven't spoken since 3 years ago----to me he is dead. i could be wrong but from what i read in the tanakh it looks like the rabbis have got it backwards.when Messiah comes to the mt. of olives it is the last place that those waiting for Him will be resurrected from-zechariah 14:5 and the Lord my G-D shall come, and all the (others) with Thee.
6. #5 you can't take it with you...
(04.06.09)
it saddens me to read that you haven't spoken to your son in 3 years and that he is dead to you. What did you do to each other to create this sad situation? Is there really no way for each of you to climb down from your treetops and restart your relationship with one another?
7. that you might live a long life-exodus 20:12
honour your father ,   and your mother   (04.06.09)
this former son of mine snuck around taking advantage of 2 old folks with dementia and my father on his death bed and found himself a crooked lawyer to steal my inheritance for himself.. as i said i don't need the money but since he was raised religiously he should have realized what he was doing and also that i would have been more than willing to share 1/2 a million dollars with him. would you like to have a son turn out like this that you could never trust behind your back ?
8. #2, #5
rehovot, israel   (04.07.09)
#2 - i agree - there are so many worthy causes they could have used their money for while they are living to help jews around the world - have they not been paying attention to the poverty in israel? #5 - your story saddens me, but I think I would do the same thing if I were in your position. Hag Sameach, and I hope your son realizes the error of his ways and finds a way to amend them this coming Yom Kippur
9. burial site close to holy rabbis?
Lisa   (04.07.09)
and this should make a difference? I was hoping in death we would all be equal? Eve dead, the filthy rich have the advantage- who said life (or death) was fair? Silly me!

What a horrible and sinful occupation it is to glean profit from the holiest burial place on earth. I pray Hashem will forgive Israel for what happens at the hands of people like this. It isn't just disgusting, it's heartbreaking.
