1.  ,MONEY GROWS ON TREES ?
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (04.05.09)
TO OTHERS THE GRASS ROOTS PROBLEM IS OVER-SPENDING ON UNNECESSARY VENTURES E.G.JERUSALEM RAILWAY,JERUSALEM BRIDGE MONSTROSITY.IS THE POPE"S VISIT GOING TO TAKE AWAY FUNDS FROM THE POOR,OR DO WE LIVE IN THE TIME OF KING SOLOMON WHERE THE STREETS WERE PAVED WITH SILVER.SURELY HE CAN SEE THAT OUR ECONOMY WILL BE ADVERSALLY AFFECTED.PERHAPS THE VATICAN COULD PAVE THE WAY WITH A SUITABLE GIFT TO COVER THE MONETARY AMOUNT NECESSARY TO MAKE HIS VISIT A SUCCESS
2. In a credit crisis spend money on the poor not the pope!

3. pope's visit to israel
naomie maurel ,   hosen. israel   (04.05.09)
why do we hav to pay 43 million shekels for the visit of the pope. I think that if he wants to visit us, the vatican should pay for all the expenses including his security. not the israeli citizen. in those time we have better use of our money for children in need, poor families etc.
4. Leaders Incapable Of getting to The Root Of The Visit
Adina Kutnicki ,   Israel,new olah   (04.06.09)
The leaders are incapable of seeing the forest from the trees. In their swoon over the Pope's visit they have NO idea what is behind it. The 'Holy Basin' concoction/ruse is a good place to start. IF it looks like a duck........
5. Why not have a news blackout on the Pope's visit until he
Rivkah   (04.06.09)
leaves, then show a lot of film and photos? That would save a lot on security costs, especially if he came and left the same night after dark and before dawn.
6. 2 Baruch: "The poor have ye always with you" is what
Rivkah   (04.06.09)
Rabbi Yeshua would say. He was annointed with a precious oil that cost a YEAR's wages by Mary Magdalene. Judas Iscariot complained the ointment should have been sold and the money given to the poor, because he was a thief and wanted some of the money. Nostradamus the French physician and prophet said this pope will be assassinated when he is away from the Vatican. He is going to be a martyr like Rabbi Yeshua, so the money is well spent in honoring him for the sake of the billion people who will be watching what he does. How would YOU like to know your fate in advance would be so costly but precious to the Lord? Appreciate him. The next one or two Popes will be worse according to Saint Malachi (one more) and Nostradamus (two more).
7. Let the pope pay his own way like every other tourist
zionist forever   (04.06.09)
In today's money over the centuries Vatican has taken trillions from the jews and how many valuable jewish artifacts are still hidden away in the Vatican vaults. As the church has stolen so much from the jews isn't it reasonable to ask the former Hitler youth pope who wants to make the Nazi supporting pope from WW2 into a saint. If the pope wants to come on vacation then like every other tourist or celebraty let him pay his own way. Why should Israeli citizens have to go short so the pope can come for a visit? I am quite happy for him to come to Israel as long as he respects certain customs like taking off his cross when he goes for the standard photo shoot at the Kotel and write a little prayer just like Obama did. He already wears a kipa anyway so no need to worry about that. If he is going to expect Israeli taxpayer to finance his little visit then let him stay in his palace full of stolen jewish treasures. I would like to know if police are short of manpower & equipment why not get the army to do the job. They have plenty of manpower and equipment to deal with any kind of threat. Why get the police involved, at all?

I dont suppose Nostradamus made any predictions like this about Obama? It would certainly be helpful if he did.

Melech ,   Amherst USA   (04.06.09)
OLMERT agreed to hand over much of downtown Jerusalem(the business district).Olmert also handed over more land to the Russians. Jerusalem will soon be Catholic. I think the POPE can finance his own damn trip, don't you?

It is in Israel's interest to have such a high dignitary visit the land.Prior to Rabin -Oslo, very few world leaders, let alone church leaders visited Israel, out of fear to anger the Arabs,Pope Paul the 6th visited Israel in 64 like going to a dentist,he entered Israel from Jordan through a back door at Megido, and on his way back had send a cable from the plane, acknowledging his visit, addressd to "the authorities in Tel-aviv" if i am not mistaken eccept for prince Charles who came to the funeral of Rabin no one from the house of windsor ever visited Israel (old habits die hard) Rabin -Oslo broke that taboo, Investments in the billions, started to pour in, turism increast,Diplomatic relations were establisht with Russia,China, and even with some Muslim countries,so,you see Naomie, good relations with the outside world are very important to Israel, especially with the Catolic church.

Rivkah ! Nostradamus is utter nonsense.Would you invest your money, based on his predictions ?.I hope nothing happens to the Pope while in Israel, and he will come back again and again, and maybe buy an Apartment in Tel Aviv facing the ocean.
