31. Is Israel a vassal of the U.S.A.?
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (04.08.09)
Most everyone assumes that, because the American people support small Israel, therefore, the State Department, the influential oil companies who make decisions for both State, the Oval Office, the Pentagon and other Intelligence units - also support Israel. These forces have different interests and different loyalties due to the Saudis and Egypt, with some connected to Syria and Iran. Israel is ‘used’ as a convenience that can be counted on - when needed - and dismissed when the decision for action lies between the Muslim Arab States and the Jewish State of Israel. Is there an alternative for Israel ? see at : http://xrl.us/ben837
32. THERE IS THE FINAL SOLUTION AS OUR PROPHETS SAID...FINAL!
....DACON9   (04.08.09)
2 STATES WILL FAIL ANYTHING WILL FAIL ITS WRITTEN
33. American government should stop meddling in other countries
HF ,   USA   (04.08.09)
Israelis elected this government democratically because it represents their views. America should not try to impose its views on foreign countries because it only causes resentment. Israel is an independent, sovereign country.
34. Lieberman's report, U.S. response
Aaron ,   SF, USA   (04.08.09)
Lieberman: you guys are rushing us and we must take the time to consider new options responsibly and not hastily. U.S.: Stop with the pragmatic approach, we're sending over an envoy as quick as possible to steer you guys in the "right" direction. OBAMA, MITCHELL, AND THE REST OF WASHINGTON: STOP. STOP RUSHING ISRAEL TO MAKE DECISION ANOTHER COUNTRY FEELS IS BEST FOR ANOTHER PEOPLE. ONLY ISRAEL KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR ITS CITIZENS.
35. YNet, stop these spin articles!
Joe ,   Ramat Gan   (04.08.09)
Lieberman is not against a two-state solution. His entire platform actually functions on the notion that there will be a two-state solution. Deliberately spreading misinformation about Lieberman and Yisrael Beiteinu is not only illegal, it's also a slap in the face of journalistic integrity!
36. #2
Yerach ,   Jerusalem,Israel   (04.08.09)
I can you what Lieberman is doing in such a sensitive position: He is standing up to the Neville Chamberlain of the 21st Century ie.Barack HUSSEIN Obama. Obama will crave us up any way he can just to impress his Arab friends. Lieberman is out to protect us here in Israel & stand up for or rights as a sovereign nation. We are not the 51st state & will do what is best for us. I for one am happy that Lieberman is telling Obama what the rest of us are thinking.
37. Big Mouth
leo ,   nyc   (04.08.09)
He hasn;t the faintest idea how to be a diplomat and blowing off his mouth doesn;t help relations with the US---the same things could be said behind closed doors---and believe me he has delusions of bringing down Netanyahu -- what a mess!
38. No contradictions
Dr. Rona Michelson ,   Modi'in, Israel   (04.08.09)
No surprise that the Obama administration feels entitled to risk our security. They had no qualms about risking the financial security of future generations of Americans. Israel needs to do what keeps Israelis safe. It's *our* future at risk.
39. what gives the usa the right to push israel around?
debra ,   usa   (04.08.09)
i thought we were allies. stand beside israel as a friend. america, stop bullying the jewish state and its newly elected leaders.
40. Why o why did i vote for Obama
Roy ,   NY, NY, USA   (04.08.09)
sorry guys - i thought he said he would support Israel (im sure thats what he said???). If i knew that he supported the Arab world and would put pressure on Israel i would not of voted for him. Sorry guys... - YES i wanted change, in the economy!. Obama see you in 4 years
41. Liberman must be strong.
Ernauld France ,   Tours   (04.08.09)
Liberman is probably the only one who will stand up to Obama's pro-Fatah/Hamas ambitions for Israel. It will cost Israel dearly - Obama and the EU will see to that. But when Iraq gets taken over by Iran it's a short step from there for her to claim the Emirates. Saudia Arabia will capitulate in the wink of an eye to Iran's aggressive ambitions - and in a matter of months Iran controls the flow of oil to the West. The Western world will have only Israel to serve as its bulwark against the rise of a new expansionist Persian Empire. The Taliban will give them all of Muslim Asia. The Muslim countries that the US and the EU fixed in the very heart of Europe (Kosovo +) will finish the job. The loony foul-mouthed leftists in the US who feel so good about themselves for having elected this Marxist Arabist will laugh at this assertion. But you won't hear anyone from Quwait, Dubai, Saudia Arabia, or Egypt laughing.
42. The U.S and (no) two State solution
DT ,   TA Israel   (04.08.09)
No two states and NO to America and "Goodbye U.S and thanks for nothing " when it comes to security
43. lieberman as fm

redbourn ,   tel aviv   (04.08.09)
45. I like Liberman
Muneer ,   Saudi Arabia   (04.08.09)
I like Liberman for FM, but i suggest other ministers like Obada Yousef, just to show the world of nature face of israel withouts any masks, they never want peace, they just want everything for thire own, by Money they try to manage the west, and by army they try to manage the MiddleEast, it successed in mnay of these fields , but the only field they will fall in , is to defeat the palestinian, since they believe in god and believ in his promissed victory, at the end we need to get which promise to become true, our God promise or Ur's.....

49. No. 45 Muneer
NYC Girl   (04.08.09)
Coming from somebody in Saudi Arabia, the accusation that Israel uses money to "manage the West" would be utterly laughable if it weren't so serious. Surely you must be aware that because they're the ones who have the oil, the despotic Saudi royal family has had most of the developed world by the proverbial "short hairs."
50. Don't get upset
Goliath   (04.08.09)
Israelis should not be angry with American foreign policies. Israel is the fifty first state of the US, isn't it?
51. State Dept needs to
Brod ,   USA   (04.08.09)
listen to Lieberman and the experts instead of imbibing the cesspool of Islamist-Jihadist Taqiyya within the department.
52. #46 I agree, obama likes palis, he can have them in US
(04.08.09)
not in Israel, PERIOD
53. U.S. HELPS Palestinians live ILLEGALLY near Temple Mount
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (04.09.09)
WORLDNETDAILY.COM U.S. helps Palestinians live illegally near Temple Mount April 08, 2009 By Aaron Klein JERUSALEM – Under intense American pressure and following a nearly unprecedented behind-the-scenes U.S. campaign, the Israeli government has decided not to bulldoze Palestinians homes built illegally on Jewish-owned property in Jerusalem, WND has learned. Like tens of thousands of other Arab housing projects throughout eastern Jerusalem, the Palestinian homes in Silwan were illegally constructed on property long ago purchased by Jews. A WND investigation last month determined the U.S. has been aiding the Palestinians in developing infrastructure in eastern Jerusalem, including on property owned by Jews... The officials said that in recent meetings Mitchell strongly protested Jewish construction in eastern Jerusalem. Mitchell also condemned the work of nationalist Jewish groups to purchase property in Jerusalem's Old City, including in areas intimately tied to Judaism. Jews barred from sections of Jerusalem In another recent development, Israeli Jews, including local property owners, have been almost entirely barred from entering Kfar Akeb, Qalandiya and Samir Amis, while Israeli Arabs can freely enter. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=94265
