31. More Leftist crap
Frank ,   Canada   (04.10.09)
These Leftists are so dumb that they put the blame on Israel for Arab rejectionnism.
32. LONG LIVE THE KOSHER FAH FAH.
Maxwell Smart ,   FREE USA   (04.10.09)
Keep the haba! haba! and as many babies as Israel can produce. Keep going none stop Israel. Fah fah the production machine 24/7/365. L'amour et un bouquet de violettes. Do it, love it and multiply. YES!
33. Golan must not be given back.
Aaron ,   SF, USA   (04.10.09)
To Israel and her security, that is as if America gave Hawaii and Alaska to North Korea and Iran. Tell that to Obama, Bibi.
34. Obama peace will bring another 9/11 to USA
sam ,   USA   (04.10.09)
35. #21 what an argument
matityahu ,   Slovenia   (04.10.09)
Leave what people alone? And secondly, where I live has nothing to do with being right or wrong. So you will have to come up with a better argument, just living in Jerusalem doesnt make you right.
36. To#29 Nour
Inna ,   USA   (04.10.09)
Nour! Palestina is a Jewish Land, it was never your country( maybe in your dream?), you never had a country. You stole the name Palestina, but in reality it always implied to Jews. You are an offsping of arab settlers on Jewish Land. So, it is better to resettle to friendly Muslim country. By the way there are 22 to choose from and all of them very friendly.
37. "Sustainable" peace not possible
Yehudi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.10.09)
The key word is "sustainable". The Arabs don't want peace so any "peace agreement will not be sustainable. A palestinian state would only become a platform for launching attacks against Israel.
38. #35 INNA, how's the weather in NYC? in Palestine its great.
Nour ,   Palestine Forever   (04.10.09)
39. To: Nour at No. 27
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (04.11.09)
Oh, Nour, please get a grip. There is no "occupation." There was no land grab. You people rejected a two-state solution TWICE. You chose to go to war instead. You lost. You have to deal with the consequences of bad decisions. I suggest you look up the Hague Second and Third Conventions. Israel fought defensive wars in 1948 and 1967. The lands they acquired -- and chose to keep -- are fully legitimate acquisitions. That said -- Nour: please read this carefully. The best friends the Palestinians have ever had are the Jews. When the Jews acquired the West Bank, they discovered incredible poverty, no sanitation, no infrastructure, no schools, no universities, no hospitals. Just desperate, desperate poverty. And we changed that. We brought electricity to the West Bank. We brought indoor plumbing. We built schools, hospitals, and six universities. We did the same for Gaza. Jews made you whole. We enabled you to live like human beings (as distinct from your Arab brethren who were content to leave you in misery). We were ready, willing and able to live in peace with you. Did that go anywhere? No. We are not your enemy, Nour. We are the best friends you have EVER had. But, you chose to reject the hand of friendship and peace in favor of people who have driven you to the brink of destruction. You have made your bed, Nour. Now you have to lie in it. It won't be pleasant .... but it was your choice. You chose violence, terror, murder and suicide bombings over peace and prosperity. Your choice. Live with the consequences.
40. Bibi's Future
V.R.Sonti ,   lawrenceburg IN, USA   (04.11.09)
I am afraid events are moving independently of Bibi. The article is absolutely correct in assessing Bibi's options and the possibilities. However we must not ignore what the Arabs and the Iranians are doing irrespective of the US and Israel's actions. Thus Bibi's Hard Line may not work
41. Sarah, I challenge you to give up rhetoric and...
Nour ,   Palestine   (04.11.09)
simply provide me with a direct answer to a straighforward question. Since the Oslo accords were signed, settlements and settlers have doubled in the West Bank, contradicting the notion of land-for-peace which "Israel" pledged to pursue as a means to achieve ever-lasting peace. Did Jews think they would get away with it, and if yes, are you planning a genocide soon? Because last time I checked the vast majority of Palestinians have no intention of leaving Palestine ever, despite the "financial incentives" propaganda thrown around by your politicians since the 1890's.
42. #41 HOW ABOUT DOUBLING ARAB POPULATION IN ISRAEL?
TRYING TO BE FAIR   (04.14.09)
YOU CAN NOT ASK JEWS TO LEAVE UNLESS YOU LEAVE FIRST. ISRAEL IS TOO SMALL, YOU WANT TO MAKE IT EVEN SMALLER, BUT DO NOTHING ABOUT LEAVING ISRAEL & SETTELING IN WEST BANK. YOU CAN'T HAVE BOTH. YOU CAN'T GET JEWS TO EVACUATE THEIR TOWNS AND VILLAGES, AND NOT MAKE SPACE FOR THEM IN ISRAEL BY EVACUATING ARAB TOWNS AND VILLAGES
