1. Olmert wanted to stay as PM until 2010 so no health excuse
Seth ,   tel aviv israel   (04.10.09)
Olmert was pressuring the coaltion members not to join the government so he could stay on as PM. Olmert didn't want to resign last year when Livni was trying to form a coalition because Olmert wanted to stay as PM until 2010. So his health wasn't an issue when he was PM.
2. A disgrace! Olmert didn't need to attend, so why the delay?
redbourn ,   tel aviv   (04.10.09)
Left wing justice?! MIke
3. Olmert's poor health....
Marco ,   Spain   (04.10.09)
Could it be after shocks from 2006??? Just wondering. lol
4. if he was PM he would be the healthiest man in the country
zionist forever   (04.10.09)
If his health was so life threatening then why didn't he resign as PM and go abroad to get this treatment his lawyers claim he needs so badly. If he hadn't been pushed out Olmert would still be PM for at least another year I am sure his health would his need for treatment would have held out long enough and if he had been the amazing PM he likes to think of himself as his health would have been good enough to put himself up for reelection. More likely he will go to the US and spend all his time earning millions traveling the anti Israel lecture circuit telling everybody how everybody who didn't agree with him was wrong and he was right about everything and he was the best PM in the countries history and will be the best PM that we will ever have again. It wouldn't surprise me if he became a special advisor of some kind to Obama telling him the best way to harm Israel. Olmert wants to evade justice nothing more, he kept trying put off police investigations. Every time it looks like we are getting a step closer to justice he finds a get out clause.. He should be stand triall. He isn't PM anymore so you should not be getting the special treatment the average citizen would not get. If an ordinary person was charged with the same things as Olmert they wouldn't have got away with it and they wouldn't get special permision to go abroad for their health. This is the traditionally left wing courts allowing the left wing PM to get out of jail free.
5. Too bad there are no doctors and
jason white ,   afula,israel   (04.10.09)
hospitals here in Israel. He just wants to get out of Israel and maybe seek asylum in another country. Make him stay here and get the medical treatment he may need.
6. Marco-just curious
Arie ,   BaGolan   (04.10.09)
How close were you to the trains your islamonazi allies blew up? From your posts, it seems you are still suffering from post-traumatic psychosis. Perhaps you should seek out a good Jew doctor to aid in curing you.
7. high court help
alexi   (04.10.09)
Leading physicians my ass. Most physicians tend to err in their diagnosises. This is a sham. Olmert is stalling, there is nothing urgent, he could have treatment in israel but watch him stall in the US. He may never come back. he'll be at his son's house making deals. He may feign serious complication. Olmert while a lousy PM and lousy negotiator is a good politico and operator. He will avoid jail with this wink from the high court. It means the judges who are friends of ehud want to help him. Now it is getting difficult to comprehend this team of Mazuz and lador. You have had years of interrogations by police, leaks, suggestions, and now nothing. The same thing is happening to lieberman. Get some top professional lawyers in there to do the job or desist., Mazuz and lador are academics and lousy courtroom lawyers and that's why the record is horrible. Olmert will easily escape indictment and will be practising law before the courts soon. And guess what? His health will be excellent. Nothing takes away the fact that all know that olmert is an absolute crook and horrible appeaser. This verdict of the high court reeks of corrruption.
8. Olmert should be extradited to Spain for treatment and
Genuine Tosefta ,   Tveria   (04.10.09)
prosecution as war criminal. This should make Marco the Jerk very happy and we will be happy on his behalf as well to get rid of Olmert once and for all.
9. Olmert vs. Miriam Nahor
Maureen   (04.10.09)
So the fake PM Olmert, in spite of his "deadly" disease" now has another weakling wrapped tightly around his fingers. What is wrong with you Jews? Can't you see thru fakes?????
10. Olmert and his fake health problems
Maureen   (04.10.09)
The high court reeks of corruption! very well spoken Alexi #7. it is so clear that Mazuz and his "buddies" stink to high heaven. Kiss Olmert goodbye... welcome to the USA. By the time Olmert is through greasing people, he aint gonna have a dime to even afford to live in america.

13. ohlmert
sad ,   israel   (04.11.09)
the man always was and always will be a liar. he wants to be wined and dined by his millionaire freinds. if he really was in need of medical care he would have gone a long time ago. you cannot trust a word from the man's mouth. no normal person would postpone medical treatment.
14. To #11 Is that spain,begium or begium,spain?
jason white ,   afula,israel   (04.11.09)
So you live in the capitol of the eurabian union? Big deal. Ask the congolese about how many people there were murdered by the belgians? Ask about the s.s. walloon division of WWII. Find out how a country was occupied by the nazis and there were belgians who volunteered to fight for the same nazis. Also didn't the belgians kill red cross or civilians nurses in WWI?
15. Flying abroad for treatment
Rami ,   London   (04.11.09)
Israel doesn't have facilities for this? When I read the headline about his health I assumed it was referring to his mental health.
16. #14 jason white
Marco ,   Spain   (04.11.09)
Hold your horses jason. If i live in Belgium, it doesnt mean that you can sue me for damages your grand parents may have incurred at the hands of the Belgiuns in world war 2.
