1. IMAGINE IF THIS HEADLINE WAS WRITTEN IN A ISRAELI PAPER
HAL TRIPP ,   LA PAZ, BOLIVIA   (04.12.09)
FINALLY MUBARAEK GETS THE TASTE OF THIS MAD MAN.Nasrallah HAS POLLUTED LEBANON WITH HIS MURDERING AND GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER.NOW HE HAS SET HIS SIGHTS ON EGYPT,THIS PROJECT WON'T BE THAT EASY,HE'S PLAYING WITH FIRE.
2. Bogus Egyptian Boastful Threats
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem - ISRAEL   (04.12.09)
Egyptians hardly have an idea of how much I view them with utter contempt and disdain.Once the biggest pride of the Arabs Egypt is being thought of, these days, condescendingly by almost all Arabs. In May 1967 their late Gamal Abdel Nasser claimed in a speech that his principal goal was to wipe out Israel only to be disgracefully defeated by Israel in 5 days in the June 1967 Six-Day War (the sixth day of that war was devoted entirely to the Syrian Golan Heights). In October 1985 whatever was left of Egypt's pride or dignity was gravely piqued when US Navy jet fighters intercepted an Egyptian airliner and forced it to land in Sicily,Italy,in hot pursuit of PLO men responsible for hijacking Achille Lauro cruise ship.Egyptian President Husni Mubarak insulted and disgraced himself only by uttering ridiculous statements such as " ... wanting America to apologize to him..." ! Some two years ago Egypt's incompetent, inept foreign minister Abu Gheit tried to bully Gaza Palestinians by claiming " whoever crosses the border would have his leg broken " . Even Egypt's late Sadat who was viewed as " the hero of the Suez Canal crossing (of 1973) " mocked Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979 and was the only head of state in the entire world to host the disgracefully-ousted Shah of Iran .Ironically the Shah died in Egypt in 1980 and Sadat followed him to oblivion after being assassinated in October 1981 by his people. Egypt these days is the very source of tasteless jokes.Egyptians should know what they really are... !
3. Hopefully Egypt will "Handle" the captives and send a STRONG
meir elazar   (04.12.09)
message to the monkey Sheikh and his monkey master. Unlike Israel, the Arab countries, do have capital punishment and use at will. Sending back the the dismembered Iranian "Advisor" in a hundred shoeboxes will convey a nice message to the monkey managerie.

7. I never thought...
Marco ,   Spain   (04.12.09)
that Egypt will ever sink this low. Poverty and corruption are so prevelent under this dictator that some people are actually living in cemeteries. Sooner or later,Hosni will be held accountable by the people of Egypt.

11. Gutter journalism, Egyptian style.
Marco ,   Spain   (04.12.09)
Hassan Nasrallah is very well liked in the Arab world among Shias, sunnis and christians. Not too many people will take kindly to Mohamed Ali Ibrahim's childish and unprofessional statement. I honestly believe that this stupid Egyptian journalist has just signed his death sentence.
12. From now, I prefer Israel over Egypt
Ibrahim Salpagarov ,   Казaнь,RUSSIA   (04.12.09)
It's unbelieveable, as a Muslim I'm astonished. Egyptians are real enemies of the unity of Muslim ummah, Allah will punish whole Egypt, everybody know their role and fight against Ottoman, so I like Israel more than Egypt and will visit Israel soon, AAM YISRAEL CHAI!! Thank you ynet if you publish my comment that Egyptian monkeys and nationalists from other side of Nile can read.
13. Ibrahim @ 12; I am flattered you hold
leo ,   USA   (04.12.09)
Israel in such high regard, but I am also puzzled by your reaction to actions of Egyptian government. All they do are trying to do is to protect their citizens. It is their job. How would it help Egypt to have the same kind of anarchy that Nasrallah and many before him created and are maintaining in Lebanon or Arafat and his likes created among Palestinians? If you are partial to Palestinian suffering (and that of Lebanon) and wish it stopped ASAP, I think, you should support this Egyptian move.
14. Mubarak doesn´t represent Egypt
Siad ,   Muslim world   (04.12.09)
Take care of your comments. He is only a dictator.
15. I didnt think monkeys were native to the Middle East
zionist forever   (04.12.09)
Obviously a new breed of monkey has been discovered.... the terrorist monkey breed. They all belong in captivity we don't need any of them in the wild. Nasrallah & Ahmadinjad belong behind bars.
16. Lol, # 2
Anna ,   Be'er Sheva, Israel   (04.12.09)
I'm sure the Egyptians can't sleep at night over the thought of you hating them. The talkbacks in ynet are more interesting that the articles :))

18. If anyone is a monkey....
Mike Van Harris ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (04.12.09)
It must be that African at the head of the Egyptian regime known as Hosni Mubarak the dictator.
19. #11 - Marco - Hahahaha, based on WHAT poll?
William ,   Israel   (04.12.09)
"Hassan Nasrallah is very well liked in the Arab world among Shias, sunnis and christians." The hell he is! This guy is worshipped by the Shai but not trusted by the Sunnis and despised by the Christians. The ONLY rallying effect behind him is his attacks on Israel, but in every day affairs they know this monkey is after power, money, and spreading Shia (Iranian) influence through violence, extortion under the guise of "supporting freedom fighters". Check out a Lebanese daily one day and educate yourself you moron.
20. #12 - Ibrahim - Please explain "unity of Muslim Ummah"
William ,   Israel`   (04.12.09)
There has yet never been a unity of Muslims since the split of Sunni and Shia over 1000 years ago. The only talk of "unity" comes when one government or group attempts to be the leader of the Islamic world. Egypt tried back in the 1950s, Saudi Arabia tries with its constant spread of Wahabism, Saddam tried when it wanted to take over Kuwait and repel the US, and now Iran tries in order to subjugate Sunnis under the Shia yolk. What's common here? ALL of these groups want power - the kind that comes from being the head of large empires built on shaky ideology and heavy-handed tactics (think Nazi Germany). Oh, and they all claim to want to help the Palestinians.
21. THE GOVERNMENT SPOKESMAN
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (04.12.09)
Of Egypt is Al-Jamhouriya.What would you expect the editor of the paper to write? The good thing about it is that the response from the Egyptian authorities has no substance at all.Calling Syed Hassan Nasrullah a monkey sheikh does not mean anything at all. There are now definite signs of ordinary Egyptians reading this and concluding exactly contrary to what a Govt financed and handled newspaper has to write about Hizbullah's.Anyway, let us see how the ordinary Egyptians react.
22. We imported our own monkeys ....
Moshe ,   Israel   (04.12.09)
from Africa not too long ago. lol
23. Exactly #2
Dani ,   Israel   (04.12.09)
Egyptians should know that their real culture is not Islam, but a way more civilized culture. A culture of architecture and science. Nowdays Arab Egyptians have no relation what so ever to the real ancient Egiptians(Except fo few maybe). Its is just another occupied land by the Muslims. Thus we can't let the same happen here in the Land of Israel.
24. PETA Should Investigate This Awful Slander Against Monkees
Seth ,   Washington, DC   (04.12.09)
25. #19 William
Marco ,   Spain   (04.12.09)
Your post shows how ignorant you are. A poll was conducted in 2007 in the Arab and Muslim world as to who is best fit to lead. The choice was between Hassan Nasrallah, King Abdullah of Jordan, (King) Hosni Mubarak, the dictator of Egypt, Bashar El Assad of Syria, Ahmadenajad of Iran, and the King of Saudi Arabia. Hassan Nasrallah came out first with 73% of the total vote. Hassan Nasrallah came out first in Egypt, Morroco and Jordan which have a sunni majority. There goes your theory about Hassan Nasallah not being trusted by Sunnis. In Lebanon, Hassan Nasrallah's most important ally is the Maronite christian ex General Michel Aoun. Other christian allies of Nasrallah are Sulieman Franjieh, the grandson of ex president Franjieh and Lahoud the ex president who is a maronite christian. So, William, do you feel that you are stupid now?
26. #22 Moshe
Avi ,   Israel   (04.12.09)
Moshe, you are a racist p$g. What do you mean by "We imported our own monkeys from Africa not too long ago" would you care to explain? Are you Russian by any chance?
27. Monkey Media claims "Nasrallah not worthy of being leader".
Kof Adam ,   Cave Number 5   (04.13.09)
Egypt has reason to bomb lebanon now. If Nasrallah monkeys shoot back, then they will also target Israel, so the next Lebanon war will be on. The Gorilla in Iran has to be watched closely though..
28. Why cant israels leaders have the same guts and say it like
Jae ,   Lynn USA   (04.13.09)
it is? What is up with that. Its part of a larger systemic problem and its JEWISH pandering to everyone except thier own dignity and integrity and soul. ENOUGH. Speak like you have some balls oh leaders of Israel. Dont run your mouth off but stand up for us, if you dont no one will. Letting 10,000 missiles rain down on israel is NOT STANDING OR SPEAKING UP FOR US. and no the issue is not complicated. You make it complicated by inserting your foot into your mouths, having a big mouth and small actions.
29. Upside Down
leo ,   nyc   (04.13.09)
What a joke--haters of Israel using an Israeli paper to attack Egypt. !Perhaps Europe will awaken to the fact that the Palestinians are a side show to many Arab countries---the real threat is Iran...
30. Re Mohamed Marco # 6
Mongo ,   Paris   (04.13.09)
"Poverty and corruption are so prevelent under this dictator that some people are actually living in cemeteries" You mean Arafat´s people?
