When moobarak calls he runs to him like a little dog. Tell the dictator of egypt to come here.
3. Mubarak proves Liberman right
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (04.23.09)
If Mubarak wants to prove Liberman was wrong in his statement then he would be coming to meet Bibi here in Israel on a state visit. But as he has invited Bibi to Egypt he shows that Liberman was right and that Mubarak is unwilling to show Israel the necessary respect, as a peace partner should, and visit here.
4. BIBI SAYS THAT HE IS COMING
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (04.23.09)
Not that Mubarak invited him.
5. I hope that you would understand this
Egyptian   (04.23.09)
Mubarak will never visit Isreal but when East Jerusalem is the Capital of Palestine.

8. #5 Egyptian - you have proven the point exactly...
Egypt; pseudo peace   (04.23.09)
So, when do we last have evidence of Jerusalem EVER being a 'Capitol of Palestine' (sic)??
9. Mubarak is wrong when it comes to Liberman
Egyptian 3569 ,   Canada   (04.23.09)
Mubarak should have visited Israel as he represents a country neighbor to Israel. Egyptians should stop worrying about the Palestinians and leave them solve their own problems and Egyptians should not stop the normalization with Israel because the Palestinians problem is not solved. I think Palestinians don’t wont to solve their problems and most good Palestinians are hostages in the hands of Hamas and alike radical terrorists. Stop acting like a child Mubarak and visit Israel and forget Palestinians.
10. funny how the peace
ghostq   (04.23.09)
between Israel and Egypt works, Israel got naging naighbour that complains all the time, and they say the hospitality is the best in the world, if you can't be nice to your neighbour, you cant be nice to nobody, Israel don't tell Egypt what to do with sudanees infiltrator.
11. I think mubark
ghostq   (04.23.09)
got also the international support, not just saudi arabia but also europ and the USA, he doesn't need to worry, who knows the right wing gov in Israel can be the best thing that ever happend in the region. Egypt got a little spoked by the declarations at first, but thos r just words. you know democracy.
12. Israel can't defeat Hizballah, Do you think Egypt can?
Sammy - Sunni Moslem ,   Amman, Jordan   (04.23.09)
Mubarak should stop blaming everyone for his failure to advance Egypt to the 21st century. 50% of Egyptians can't read or write. the economy of Egypt is in disarray. He, like any dictator, is trying to deflect the attention of his people to other fabricated matters. Also the Egyptian military does not strike me as a force that can strike fear in its adversaries. His threats against Hizballah are hallow and shallow and induces laughters. If the Israeli military does not scare Hizballah, I don't think Egypt military can.
13. MAHMOOD. I WOULD LIKE TO CORRECT YOU PLEASE.
(04.23.09)
on april 2nd, 2009, the israeli government as well as mr. netanyahu's personal secretary and office received a personal phone call from president's mubarak of egypt which plainly reiterated an invitation a verbatim to israeli prime minister netanyahu. it is a known fact, maybe not to you, that mubarak has personally spoken to the mr. netanyahu on several occasion, instances of which you may never be aware. an invitation was extended on the basis of these personal communiques to mr. netanyahu by mr. mubarak. PERSONALLY it is better for both our governments to cooperate rather than antagonize one another and it most certainly doesn't help to keep our ministers or prime ministers apart at this crucial time. please try to concentrate on true ocurences rather than wishful thinking on your part. mrs. rita veranik pm office secretary communications department tel aviv israel israel

You probably don’t realize that Egypt has the strongest Arab army with mostly US gear including M1 tanks that are assembled in Egypt. We have not been in a war since a long time. We have peace with Israel and we don’t like silly adventures. Egypt is not looking to defeat Hezbollah but to just punish it. if you mention that 50 % illiteracy , it shows that you are really silly since our population is 80 million with 1 million increase every 9 month. Imagine the resources required to accommodate that. Our economy is good and numbers talk, check the economist magazine .

Do you think we care? There was only one Sadat, G-d rest his soul. Sadat cared more about his people than his title.
17. egyptian people don't understand the interest of peace
dovdevan ,   ashdod,israel   (04.23.09)
with Israel ! and now more than ever before there is a window of opportunity to make peace with a lot of arab countries because they are scared of the iranian imperialism ! if we don't get the opportunity Iran will destabalize all the region !

19. WRATH? AND THAT ALSO FROM EGYPT

Zvi   (04.23.09)
Hizballah could not keep Israel out of southern Lebanon, and only the noisy upheaval among anti-Israel countries of the world brought the war to an end. If another Arab country smashed Hizballah, nobody would care. Most of the world would applaud. Who stood up for the Palestinians during Black September? Who stood up for Lebanon during the period when Syria treated it as a province of Syria? Who has ever cared about inter-Arab wars, unless these threatened the flow of oil? Nobody cares, Sammy. The only reason Hizballah wasn't obliterated is that Israel is a Jewish state, and that means that unlike Arab states, it is held to a "21st century" standard of behavior instead of a 15th century standard of behavior. Arab states and Arab groups should be held to a 21st century standard, shouldn't they? Treating Arabs like degenerate savages is an insult to Arabs. But that's what the world is doing when it ignores Darfur, Hama, Black September, etc., but screams and yells about Gaza.
21. No matter who goes where PM will never talk to
leo ,   USA   (04.23.09)
opposing FM. PM will only talk to PM and FM will only talk to FM. Oh, and if Egyptians know what is good for them they will take care of their internal problems. Otherwise they will go by way of Lebanon.
22. Mubarak will have the same fate as Sadat
IRAN#1   (04.24.09)
The dictator for life will get the wrath of Egyptions sooner or later!
