Ok, so this actually kind of makes sense to me. If people in Israel hear it called swine flu, they may think that it won't be a problem because pork is not part of their diet. Think of it like Mad Cow disease. If you avoid beef, you won't get mad cow disease. That's not the same for this one. So my calling it something else, Israeli's are more aware of it as an actual concern or danger.

But please do not slam Sambucol Elderberry Syrup for the flu when many M.D. newsletters give the adult dose for acute phases of the flu as 10cc four times daily. The 10cc daily dose may prevent infection or ameliorate it. Tamiflu is not effective against the bird flu component of the swine/human flu that is going around. Do you want people to die from the bird flu aspect because they did not take Sambucol? The studies were done in Israel a few years ago. I am surprised you are not aware of that. It was a great medical breakthough since before that study, there was no remedy for bird flu like the 1918 Spanish flu.
