Arie ,   BaGolan   (04.28.09)
btselem? AI? islamonazi "human rights" groups? Durban II? UNHRC? sternhell? WOW...........not a word from anyone? DEATH PENALTY for engaging in a legal transaction? Only in paliworld. But if you burn and butcher a woman or young girl in some attempt to "reclaim family honour" you are feted and rewarded. No wonder obama bowed to the saudis in subservience.
3. execution for land sale
alexi   (04.28.09)
Fatah keeps doing this to deter legitimate israeli purchases. Abbas and his lieutenants should be warned to stop this or they will be executed including big mouth ereckat. Arab punishment is a crime against humanity and they should be brought to the UN's attention knowing what good that will do. Anyways, your best friend, the israeli chamberlain olmert is gone. he almost singlehandedly sold israel down the river. If Abbas wants to execute olmert, be my guest.
4. Such is Palestinian democacy
Sheila ,   Jerusalem Israel   (04.28.09)
A Palestinian man cannot choose his path, he is pushed down the path forced upon him. Democracy - not
5. So, who is the real aparthaid racist peoples?
Yosi M. ,   GiloJerusalem Israel   (04.28.09)
Where are all the leftists now? This is the truth of the real aparthaid. Even Jordan has laws forbidding Jews from buying property and or living in Jordan. These arabs are the worst racists, aparthaid etc.. Who else would go to a minorities home and take whatever they want, rape the woman and then the muslim court say that they did nothing wrong based on the Koran. Talk to me lefties, metorafim kol kah.
6. Where o where is a leftist when you need him?
Al   (04.28.09)
7. Palestinians have NO RIGHT to complain about Israel now.
Tahl ,   Ashdod, Israel   (04.28.09)
An execution of a person merely for selling land, proves that the true oppressors and murderers of Palestinians, are the Palestinians themselves. The next time they cry out to the world about Israel's "crimes", we'll remind the world of this incident.
8. So now is time
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim   (04.28.09)
B"H So now is time Barak to give the property back to the rightful Jewish owner.

11. Will Israel not come and save him from the murderers?
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (04.29.09)
Since he did Israel a favor, should he die or be rescued?
12. Antisemitic Law and Palestinian barbarity!
A worried Jew! ,   Haifa, Israel.   (04.29.09)
Shocking! Not allowing to sell lands to Jews is an antisemitic law! For such a law to be also allowed in Hebron, on the land Avraham bought, is another crime! Furthrmore, for the Palestinians to execute one of their own people for selling a piece of land (irrespective to whom!) is a fine example of the barbarity of it leaders!
13. they called it poetic justice once
Ypip ,   Canada   (04.29.09)
that was but a fortnight.
14. Obama Understands
Herut ,   America   (04.29.09)
President Obama understands arab "justice." That is why he bowed down to the arab ruthless dictator (a/k/a "king") as the good dhimmi he is!
15. Selling Land
Leon ,   Grand Rapids USA   (04.29.09)
I believe that in Jordan, selling land to Jews is also a capital crime.
16. The Mandate for Palestine
David ,   Rhode Island   (04.29.09)
Article 15 of the Mandate for Palestine says, in part: "No discrimination of any kind shall be made between the inhabitants of Palestine on the ground of race, religion or language. No person shall be excluded from Palestine on the sole ground of his religious belief."
17. Where are all the do-gooders now?
Yaron ,   USA   (04.29.09)
What else can you say but DISGUSTING. These are the people we are supposed to trust as a peace-partner? Note, these are the good terrorists. Nothing but UTTER SAVAGERY. Where are all the PC posts from the UK and Australia on this one? It amazes me how these people are silent when the Islamo-fascists are murdering one another.
18. Makes no sense
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (04.29.09)
"Prosecutor Issa Amer said the defendant sold land that didn't belong to him in the village of Beit Ummar using forged documents." Then he is guilty of forgery (of the deeds) and fraudulent conveyance. Does that carry a death sentence in the Palestine Authority? What a bunch of primitive barbarians.
19. That's their way, worst than animals?
Daniel ,   India   (04.29.09)
No surprise; when their cleric "equivalent to nothing less than G'd" says so, it ia all right , the murderers have reserved place in haven even after man slaughter.
20. To Sarah # 18
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem - ISRAEL   (04.29.09)
You are describing your own by using the phrase " a bunch of primitive barbarians " . Surely it satisfies you and all Israelis and Jews to have Palestinian traitors collaborating with the Israeli occupation in order to make the occupation pefectly legal and legitimate. Once again selling land to occupiers in times of war is an act of high treason that should be met with death penalty. And regarding that Hebronite who allegedly used forged documents to sell land that was not his he most certainly committed high treason by simply getting involved in land sale to occupiers(an ccomplice in land selling ) ! I thought you knew civilized law but it seems you are still clinging hard to medieval laws. By the way I am not affiliated with the PA or any other organization or party but my sound way of thinking compels me to adopt that position.
21. To #20
Yaron ,   USA   (04.29.09)
You prove everyone's point on this talkback with your ignorance. Hey buddy, wake up...there is no war. If there were a war and the Israelis did half of what you and your whining brothers claim....we would have had peace and quiet already because you savages would all be gone by now. Count your blessings that you are dealing with a moral and ethical adversary because I can assure you that you would have been dead by now had it an been inter Arab conflict.
22. To: No. 20
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (04.29.09)
It is not an illegal occupation, sir. Jordan attacked Israel in 1967; Israel won fighting a defensive war. Under the Hague Second and Third Conventions, Israel has full right to retain any territor it acquired. Israel is also free to build and settle the territory it acquired in its own discretion. It seems to me that Palestinians would be far better served by dealing with reality, and distancing themselves from the rhetoric that has been fed to them by so-called leadership that has done nothing to improve the existence of Palestinians. The same so-called leadership has lined their pockets with funds intended to improve infrastructure, develop business and industry, and otherwise enhance the lives of Palestinians. The fact of the matter is that the Palestinians on the West Bank never lived as well as between Israel's acquisition of the territory in 1967 and the time the Palestinian Authority took over. "Times of war," you say? You are not a nation, sir. Only nations can declare war. You are deluding yourself if you consider yourself to be in an active state of war with Israel. We know that Palestinians have undertaken terrible acts of terror in pursuance of their misguided idea that they are "at war." But Palestinians are a rabble, not a nation, with twenty or so organizations each claiming to be the sole voice of the Palestinian people. International law and precedent will not be changed to suit Palestinian purposes. The Hague Conventions will not be repealed or repudiated. Palestinians need to forget the false rhetoric they have come to believe; they need to clean up their own house; they need to abandon pipe dreams of destroying the Jewish state and the Jewish people and come to terms with the fact that sixty years of history cannot -- and will not -- be undone. Once more (a little incremental reinforcement): make no mistake; Israel is here to stay; the West Bank is not yours. Behave -- and you can stay. Misbehave -- and you will be the ones to go; not Israel. And finally: you are not a nation; acts of treason are per force acts against a state. To impose the death penalty on this hapless individual is barbaric indeed. But that says far more about the Palestinian Authority than you may realize. The world shudders at this death sentence. The Palestinian would do well to sit up and take notice.
23. #20 if we were like the arabs, who ARE BARBARIAN & PRIMITIVE
(04.29.09)
WE WOULD HANG THE ARAB MINISTERS of the israeli knesset, as they were against the country that they serve DURING A real WAR unlike your imaginary war we wouldn't sentance to 4 years a person that was found guilty last week for collaborating with iran.

i would recommend that rather than living in a civilized and peaceful society such as in israel and having your backwards ideas of justice and morality, you would be better suited to be one of those head choppers in saudi arabia that makes their living beheading the innocent and oppressed, god bless their souls. since your idea of what constitutes justice and what morality is is so evidently depraved, to say the least, you have no place living in a society that doesn't agree with your morality. then again, all i can see is that when a muslim kills a muslim, it is unanimously agreed on amongst yourself that life is not precious and that life is expendable. what a sorry state you are in. for a person such as yourself that agrees with islamic rules of punishment, i fail to comprehend that after living in such a democratic and civil nation such as israel, some sense and real morality didn't rub off on you through the years. shame on you. vivienne beirut, lebanon

Herut ,   America   (04.29.09)
First, bravo Miriam (#24)! Sadly, political "correctness" expects civilized people to regard barbaric actions like "honor killings" as equal to acts of charity, since the former is the mode of arabs while the latter the normal action of civilized people. The arabs residing in Israel should be held to the Biblical requirements of residency---which includes respect for national law. By the way, contrary to popular belief, Judea and Samaria ARE part of Israel!
