4. Ha ha, you've taken it it seriously?
(04.30.09)
This is an Islamist NGO who tried to get attention and joined PM Erdogan's gaining votes campaign by criticising Israel harshly and trying to look friendly to Plaestinians. This news don't even make it to the newspapers in Turkey.

And they will all drop like flies as their hate-driven tirades turn up proof that Israel acted legally in Gaza and does always. Now on to the Hamas war crimes where proof overflows.

stude ham   (04.30.09)
israel is at war against a dangerously vicious enemy who thinks shelling villages with rockets is ok because it can be euphemistically called 'resistance'. war, very regrettably is massively cruel... and what israel did in its own defence in gaza hardly descended to the levels of crime against humanity. so... get off this war crime allegations that are nothing more than insulting to humanity and its intelligence.
10. Turkey should investigate persecution of Azeris in Iran
Jake   (04.30.09)
Azeris (AKA Azerbaijanis) are a Turkic people. As fellow Oghuz Turks, they are closely related to the Turks of Turkey. They number in the millions in Iran and are persecuted. Obviously Erdogan doesn't care too much, because the Terrorist Regime in Iran that is persecuting them says "Allahu Akbar" and condemns Israel. Whatever happened to the legacy of Ataturk, I wonder?

1,300 dead (and even this number is considered highly exaggerated by many legitimate international evaluators), seven-eighths of them terrorists does not a war crime make. Particularly after eight years of constant missile barrages, suicide bombing attempts and smuggling tunnels. As to the efficacy of the Gaza operation -- missile fire into Israel has ended. (Hamas had nothing to do with it; trust me. Israel destroying a Sudanese convoy carrying weapons destined for Gaza and sinking an Iranian ship carrying weapons destined for Gaza had a great deal to do with it. Israel destroying the smuggling tunnels and bombing the missile launchers in Gaza had a great deal to do with it. Giving Hamas just a teeny-tiny taste of what Israel CAN do with very little effort had a great deal to do with it.) Congratulations, Turkey, for coming to your senses. Hopefully, the rest of Israel's naysayers will follow suit.

admire your T/Bs but must correct you. Quassams are still being fired into S.Israel even today.Fortunately no injuries-yet.. Turkey hasn't come ti its senses frightened that it too will be investigated for it's ongoing genocide..Wish all Israelis would boycott turkey & not visit their Islamist regime..Any Jew either!!!! ex NY'r Shalom

I do know that Qassams are still being fired into Israel, but not at nearly the same rate as following the Gaza operation. I believe the point I was trying to make was that Hamas has no intention of holding to a cease-fire; the reason the missiles have largely stopped is because Israel eliminated most of the launchers, a lot of the terrorists and have expanded their efforts to include preventing missiles and other arms from reaching Gaza, even if it involves taking out a huge arms convoy in the Sudan and torpedoing a vessel bearing weapons coming from Iran. Israel's extraordinarily long reach with respect to interdiction has made the difference; not good will from Hamas. I also think that as very responsible reports have emerged from third-party relief workers in Gaza that contradict Hamas' claims and acknowledge that the Israeli operation was cautious, careful and included advance warnings that an area would come under bombardment have emerged, the international community has come to realize that the Israelis did what they had to do, and they took great pains while doing it. There was a team of doctors from Italy who said flat-out that the Hamas militants would come into the hospitals, don white coats and mingle with people who had every reason to be in a hospital. We learned from the United Nations that Hamas militants did indeed fire upon Israeli troops from within the school's compound (thus making the school a legitimate target). And so on and so forth. Given the residual problems in that region of the world, there will always be criticism of Israel; there will always be accusations of "war crimes" -- eventually the third-party neutral reports start to trickle in, and then only the most virulently anti-Israel countries or the most frightened European countries continue to accuse Israel of war crimes. Everyone else comes to their senses. In the meantime, very few weapons are reaching Hamas. And no one seems to complaining about that -- except Hamas.
15. #10 Erdogan is not a Turk.
Anon   (05.01.09)
Erdogan is originally from Georgia, his family migrated to Turkey. He has never used the term Turk or Republic of Turkey. As Islamists do, he is not identifying himself as a Turk but as a Muslim. Azeris are not related to Turks, they are Turks. Turks of Turkey and Azeri Turks express this unity saying: "We are one nation two states."
16. #12 If you are really partly Turkish as you argue, ...
(05.01.09)
you would understand what I'm saying here to you: Agzi olan konusuyor. It is clear that your brain doesn't seem to work properly, as you make up things and believe in them later. There is no ongoing genocide in Turkey and Turkey has no worries or concerns over any investigations. You must research, think and then make an argument instead of throwing a slogan and false arguments in the air. Use your brain, not mouth only.
