This isn't getting the same coverage in the world press as the initial charges did. I truly wonder why.

5. Hizbollah spy in FBI & CIA
Marcel ,   Florida   (05.01.09)
The double standard continues as the U.S. seeks to appease the Islamic hordes by sacrificing Israel to these wolves . The Lebanese spy Nada got a slap on the hands while Pollard is abused with an excessive prison term. Netanyahu should grow some stones and demand Pollards release first thing. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3827/is_20071203/ai_n21161663/

But they've lost their jobs, their lives have been ruined, their legal expenses must have been horrendous. All because some people thought they had something that could smear Israel.

11. This case never had any merit
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.01.09)
Hardly a week after the media frenzy about "Israeli spies", I sat with friends over a Shabbat meal and insisted this case didn't pass the "smell test". These were simply charges pursued by over-zealous prosecutors out to find disloyal Jews. (David Szady, who spent years looking for "another Pollard", was a major force behind this.) There simply was no precedent to pursue such a case against a civilian. And prosecutors didn't relish the specter of Rice, Hadley, Szady and others being grilled by the defense. As for Rosen and Weissman, who have carried millions in legal fees, they are justified in asking "How do I get my reputation back?" It's also fair to ask why the FBI and Justice aren't as aggressive pursuing Arabs and Muslims who betray this country as they are searching for Jews. As to folks like Jazi and Erastus: they will never get it.
12. The information they had.....
Aaron ,   SF, USA   (05.01.09)
....was regular Washington insider information to begin with. The charges were erroneous from the start.
13. Well Israe

14. No merit?
Giff ,   Lebanon, USA   (08.26.10)
"Raymond", add me to the list of people who don't "get it". No precedent? Where's your head. Your "smell test" is obviously colored by the nature of your palate.
