I will say merely that the Spanish judge can launch an investigation, the prosecutor can bring a case; they can do whatever the hell they want. Of course, the tricky part will be in getting the Israeli officers to appear in the courtroom, which -- assuming the Spanish care -- will create an inevitable bias because no Israeli will appear in his own defense.
